Here's the thing. I am a big gears fan, and this game blew me away. I just have been busy with other passions in life. I finally got to play the campaign after a few long years. Holy moly. If anything screams gears, it's act 3. Like Act 1 and 2 are great. The open world was a bit slow and took me out of the action at times, but I would rather that than a cut scene where they just talked.

I genuinely think they did a fa-nominal job with this game and tried to make this the most gears game there is.

That quick time event will haunt me for years.

Genuine Fun, Honestly

I seriously love low recoil guns in games and Splitgate totally solves that for me, I feel like I actually am great at this game because I'm not wasting my time learning new recoil patterns for the first 20 hours of game play. Seriously well designed concept. As of now (9/29/2021) the menu and GUI is very clunky, but not horrible. I think it could use some better sorting features for the guns you do and down own skins of and maybe there could be better game selection options as well as some of the party features are lack luster.

Gun go pew, I die a lot. I win. YAY!

Fun, but pay to win, or be super luck.

Great game, easy to use on verity of computers, costomisable to fit player, great for a fps. It gets less frames noticeably when on larger maps or bombs go off.
