Some people seem to have issues with this remaster. I do agree with most of the reviews here that this is more of a touched up Windows 7+ compatible version that has bugs and slowdowns depending on the computer running it and other external factors.

I can run the game with sound now, as I have realtek audio disabled and thus no stereo mixer to fix the sound bug in the original. I could run 3840x2160 DSR on the original but without sound, it was not very fun to play.

I play at 2880x1620 resolution (DSR) and maintain a near constant 60FPS framerate.
I have not had any slowdowns or crashes as others have had, although I have had one wierd texture bug show up in one spot and not anywhere else. I took a screenshot of that texture bug as I thought it was odd.

I recommend this Game to fans of Borderlands 1 and anyone who does not want to deal with the BA point resets and the (now fixed) "graveyard.sav" bug that the 360 version has. The PC version is much nicer (i have both) and supports PhysX physics and native 1920x1080 along with multi monitor setups. I enjoyed this game more then the first. unfortunately, there is no Antialiasing support. FXAA does not count btw.

for a (buy to get genuine tf2 items) game, its actually pretty good. game is ATI optimised, which is hard to find as most are nvidia. game runs good with no performance problems like DR: human revolution had.

I recommend this game for the mods and trainers only, the driving is way more realistic then midtown madness 3.
