If you liked the satire of DLC Quest you will like Loot Box Quest. In the game you are put in the shoes of a fan of the popular MacGuffin's Quest series which has just had it's second release, you will have to work to buy the game, then work even more to buy those lootboxes since it seems not only is the titular MacGuffin not included but he is not even DLC but instead a lootbox reward. You will [not really] learn programming, automation, and many other skills as you just try to unlock a single character. But will the ends really justify the means. The game provides a rather satirical look at the current direction of the industry in respects to the new microtansaction model. Much like DLC quest lampooned DLC and Freemium games Loot Box Quest takes on welll loot boxes, micro transactions, and other ways of squeezing the gamer for all they are worth. Short about 2-3 hours but does warn you when you are at 1.5 incase you don't like it and want your dollar back. You can pretty much 100% in a single run since most the achevements are more progression markers this time then actual challenges. Definiatly worth that 99 cents.

Eversion on steam is an update to a Freeware game of the same name. Better graphics and a new ending and some other small changes. The game itself is a fun little short platformer about collecting gems and trying to save a princess. Though thing are not that straight forward as you find out using your power to "Evert" and flip over ot another layer of reality. Getting the normal ending will take almost no time but there are other endings and secrets to find. Give the old freeware version a try and if you like it definatly pick up this version.

A sequel to a gamejam game I really liked.

If you liked the boss fight at the end of the first game you will probably like this game, it has the healing of the first game as well as the hidden chest to help power you up but now each "Gate" is a boss fight. There is also a new Dating System which allows you to get different powers then your defualt Flask attack from the first game. Not very long, likely an 1 to 1 1/2 hours if you read everything and maybe 45 minutes or less if you rush on easy. There are also to other difficulties to master if you want a longer and more bullet-hellish game. Overall I would recommend this game if you liked the previous entry. If you are not sure becuase of the length definatly get in during a sale.

A better version of a Games against Ebola game jam. Princess Remedy was my favorite game of the jam, it has some cameos from ludoverse characters and some silly dialoge. It is short, Having beaten it like 2-3 times prior it took me about 1hr to 101% it on normal (there are 2 hard difficultes now). 3 save is a nice touch to. I recommend talking to everyone in the first area to get the controls down. Word of advice, after you beat the boss the game goes into that marry mode people were talking about, all cured NPCs will just ask if you want to marry them (and ever single one has a little bit of added flavor text for the ending) so if you want to hear what a cured or health character says be sure to talk to them before that final boss battle.

All and all this is basically a Quality of Life update to a fun little 3-day game jam game. If you take it slow and talk to people you will likely get maybe around 3 hours. For free it is a good way to kill some time on a lazy weekend afternoon. This game gets my recommendation as worth your time.

This is not a game, it is a program. However it was made in source thus it is here in games.

This is a more of a digital toy then a progem you NEED. Ever hear of 3DNA Desktop? This is kinda like that, this is you desktop as a 3D world. You can basically make a nice 3D arcade to show off to your friends. As SM_SithLord has mentioned this program might not work as you would expect, there is no P2P downloads of your friends games or ScreenSharing to watch then game or watch movies. To fix this machines can be set to watch steam via TwitchTV and Games you don't own will allow you to look for it via steam, amazon, and google or point it to the download directory on your computer. There is also the issue that say you have a friend with a cool video they want to show you but it is only legal to view in germany on youtube, well the program uses your connection to view youtube and thus that video is blocked. Oddly dispite this program being called Anarchy Arcade it likes to follow the rules (You know so it doesn't get yanked for the store and/or sued). Also it seems the Anarchy bit refers to the fact you can make the arcade look as you want.

This program IS a source game so it does take a bit of resources so I would not run this and say Team Fortress 2 at the same time unless you have the CPU and memory to run a source game with another one paused.

This may be built on the source engine but it is not ment to be a free gary's mod, it does not let you spawn guns as far as I know.

The mentioned perposes for this have been for friends/family to hang out on when they are not close, communities to share what they like, and at some point website to offer VR version of their site you can walk around in. If you can actually walk to your besites house then it would be better then using this as it is not ment to replace actually going to someone's house to hang out.

All in all, this is a fun little toy to mess around with and build little 3D arcades in. It is however not very general purpose and while free at about 2GB (not counting the neat community workshop items) unless you want to make a nice themed arcade other then achivements, unlockable locations, and unlockable props/cabinets/etc you might not be to keen on downloading this.

It does what it says on the tin though, I would recommend watching some of SM_SithLord's videos on his youtube to see if you actually even think the program is worth your bandwith first. But if you like it give it a whirl.

With that I give this game (toy) a Recommend

2-3 Hours to complete. The dev says more is comming soon. The price is now dropping from 4.99 to 1.99 regular which is neat for the gamer with a budget. Interesting to see a dev mark down a game solely based on "Great games but too pricey" reviews.

The game appears to be based loosely on David of "David and Goliath" fame. You are a squere that throws stones at the bigger baddies. The whole game is basically a boss rush. You can jump as much as you want, basically flying about trying to dodge bullets. The visuals are minimalist but nice. Music is nice as well. you get a 7 life normal, and the one lifer VERY (which can be a PAIN, but the good kind).

Lastly this game has hats, 3 to be exact (well one is technically not a hat but we will count it as one) so you also have that. We all know how important hats are in games.

It is a fun little game, Arena and the super secret hidden level can provide some fun minigames to give you some replay till more content arrives. Overall good fun.

A wonderful game. Seems like a loveletter to the GBC/GBA top-down action-adventure titles. The only issue is it is too short and as another review said it can feel a bit empty at point. About 2hrs to 100% it. But it feels like a playing a well set-up emulation of a GBC/GBA Zelda which is high praise from me. The controls are customizable if the default X, C, and arrow keys does not float your boat.

The music is pleasent and the gameplay is very Zelda-like. If you liked Link's Awakening and you have a couple bucks (on sale at time of writing) or 3ish bucks when it is full price then buy it.

The story is a tad simplistic like in the older Zelda's. NPC dialouge is a bit limited at time (Some of them will repeat stuff). But is overall fun. I do like the stun function of the sheild and there 2 time trial mini-games you that could give you some replay if you want to hone your skills. The game tracks progress and Play time which can be nice if you like speed-running.

Has a nice fullscreen mode that plays the game at it's native resolution but applies a "Frame" like the Pokemon GBA game used to when played in Stadium's emulator. A nice touch, especially if you want to record it in full screen without distortions and are too lazy to craft your own frame. X3

Like some other users have said, the game is cute, and worth it at this price. Brushfire was also super nice and reponsive in getting me the key for owning the game on Desura which while is a plus.
