What Puzzle Quest did for match-3, Defender's Quest: VotF does for tower defence coupling traditional RPG mechanics with quirky chracters and strong plot with a very natural sense of narrative progression. A definite must play.

A strong narrative from start to finish, wonderful graphics, good gameplay (think Uncharted), decent gunplay that doesn't get in the way of the adventure at hand, and a likable cast all tie together to make for a compelling and immersive action adventure game. Highly recommended for fans of the genre.

Don't let the quirky looking imagery fool you, this is one of the best point and click adventures I've played in years. Up there with Monkey Island in witty humour, plot, and writing with solid voice acting. Couldn't put this one down until it was over.
