Figment looks and sounds amazing and it's obvious a lot of love went into this game. The graphics are playful, colorful and very detailed, same goes for the music and sound effects. Each part of the Figment world has its own look and feel to it and all this together with the music made this game very enjoyable.

Figment is very child friendly game, great for parents that enjoy gaming together with their kids. The difficulty level is for beginners, hard core gamers will definitely get bored after one or two hours of play. I wanted to finish the story, I did... but I got a bit bored the last couple of hours and really wanted to "get it over with" and get to the end. Which is a shame because all elements in this game are amazing. So I suggest not playing it in one go... as I did. But play it casually.

I was very entertained by the little details, knocking on every door I came across to see what kind of crazy stuff the inhabitants had to say, which made the exploration fun.

The puzzles in Figment are well constructed and enjoyable with many variables, sometimes musical, puzzle mechanics which are not too hard but challenging enough.

If you enjoy a not too difficult game with amazing artwork and sounds, or love to play games together with your kids, this is definitely one for you.

The Good:
+ Amazing, colorful detailed artwork
+ Child friendly game
+ Great sound effects and musical type songs
+ Fun puzzle mechanics
+ Good story

The Bad:
- A little too easy

Figment can be completed in about 6 hours.

Be Godzilla... but in a Mech with guns. 10/10

Am I drunk or just a bad driver? These controls are pretty difficult to get used to on a keyboard. I'm guessing it is probably more logical on a controller with a twin stick. That said, this game is a lot of fun to play!

You have to destroy everything. The sounds and overall atmosphere make it a lot of fun to do. Very satisfying explosions and overall mayhem!

You can drive various Mechs and each has a big arsenal of guns. Get destructo happy and just wreck the whole neighborhood, the buildings, the trees and the little guys that are frantically running around... oh and let’s not forget the actual enemies. You'd almost forget about them, since destroying everything else is already so much fun. I'd sometimes forget the main missions and just run around crushing everything.

There are multiple possible strategies per scenario. Mine was simply to destroy everything you encounter. Perhaps you are more of the sneaky, stealthy type.

The graphics style is really enjoyable, crispy clear sprite design with a splash of neon, along with a great 80's Stranger Things type soundtrack. All these elements give Brigador the final finishing touch.

I am oversimplifying the game with this review, since there is a lot more to discover. Campaigns, the story, freelance mode, customization, multiple strategies and more.

If you enjoy loads of missions, strategy and destroying stuff Godzilla style, this one is definitely for you!

The Good:
+ Destroy everything
+ 56 Mechs and customization
+ Many scenarios
+ Graphics, sounds and just amazing detail
+ Good backstory and lore
+ Many hours of game time

The Bad:
- Difficult controls you need to get the hang of

How long to beat Brigador: Up-Armored Edition?
The main game story can be completed in about 8 hours, the main game + the extra's a total of 30+ hours of gaming fun. For completionists a whopping total of 230 hours. That is a lot of game time for your money.

I just love this game. Short, playable when you have a few minutes to spare. Extreme RNG allover the place, so you die fast and often, I actually got past the first boss twice so far, yey. I actually really enjoy playing it :D.

Edit: After 2 years I still come back to this game from time to time if i have 10 minutes to spare. And I still like it, remind me of the old skool games. <3

Forestation is a fun puzzle game with lush sweet looking graphics. The music is relaxing and the sound effects make very satisfying plops when the trees are popping up. The puzzles start out super simple but around level 11 it gets a little more challenging. The first few levels are great for kids.

The game mechanics are pretty straight forward. You have to plant the trees in a grid type layout. You click your mouse and move it over the fields, once all the grassy fields are connected and filled you let go of the button. It is like connect the dots where the lines cannot cross. When you covered all the grassy squares the trees will pop up and you progress to the next level.

Sometimes the puzzles got a bit weird, you had to build a bridge to a floating square but there was no indication a bridge was possible. I guess that is the puzzle concept for some of the levels. It took me a while to understand that the little floating field was part of secret paths. You could be stuck without knowing what exactly to do and you will have to look it up in the walk-through. Basically it means you have to move around the mouse a lot and try to find the secret fields.

The game is a bit on the short side with 30 levels. I finished it within 60 minutes.
So the main price of € 3,99 is a bit steep for the play time you get so I suggest to get it in a sale.

The Good:
+ Relaxing to play
+ Fun puzzle mechanics
+ Sweet looking artwork
+ Good music and sound effects
+ Steam achievements

The Bad:
- Some difficult/weird levels
- A bit short

The game can be completed in about 1 hour, depending on your pace. More if you want to get all the steam achievements.

Bayou Island is a point and click adventure with a 1990's nostalgic feel to it. The game was created by a one person indie game developer, who probably did all artwork and voice acting himself. There is a lot of potential. The game is not perfect, but good enough. Easy to Medium difficulty of puzzles, with one suddenly difficult one near the end.

If you enjoy point & click adventures I suggest you give it a go. However due to the shortness of the story I'd suggest you get this in a bundle or buy full price to support the developer so he will create more point & click games.

The Good:
+ Classic adventure point & click
+ Good music

The Bad:
- Short for the price

The game can be completed in about 30 minutes, depending on your point & click experience.

Who sabotaged the Airship!? That's what you need to find out in this mystery adventure game.

This is a fun stealth detective game with a good story that changes depending on the choices you make, which keeps it interesting. The stage is set on a steampunk airship and you have to explore, investigate and talk to various passengers to uncover the truth and answer the question, who sabotaged the airship?

The game is extremely flexible and your choices and conversations with the passengers can actually change the fundamentals of the story. Unlike other so called "choices matter" games. You can even suspect yourself! Maybe you sabotaged the airship... well? huh? Well, did ya, punk?

So if you are into detective mystery stories this one is definitely for you.

The Good:
+ Good mystery story
+ Choices matter, you can change the outcome
+ Multiple choices and endings
+ Great soundtracks and sounds
+ Useful tools you can use
+ Cool steampunk graphics

The Bad:
- Stealth part gets boring after a while
- Minor bugs

The game can be completed in about 3 hours, however due to the choices matter element, you can get multiply playtroughs out of this game.

Early Access Review
Why!? Oh why do I keep torturing myself with these scary games... I just never seem to learn. It looked peaceful enough, until you lose your little daughter in a well and you have to roam scary hallways trying to find her.

So there you are in the middle of a dark randomly generated maze equipped with an almighty flashlight. The flashlight should've been my first hint this game would become scary. You walk around trying to avoid getting burned, poisoned or speared by traps, while creepy sounds surround you. You have to find useful items and solve small puzzles to progress in the game. Ow did I mention there's a blood thirsty Minotaur out there that wants to crush your skull in?

You can mark walls with chalk to avoid losing your way and you will find very motivating messages along the way like: Turn around, find a gun, help and Run! Especially the last one was very useful... when you hear that Minotaur getting closer panic sets in and you will most definitely run like a maniac trying to find a way out.

The game does stutter a bit and the textures could be better, but the developer is calling it Early access. So let’s hope the game will improve along the way it has a lot of potential.

This is definitely another great Halloween party game to play with friends. The first to scream loses a point...

The Good:
+ Scary good
+ It has puzzles
+ Random labyrinth

The Bad:
- Still early access, needs tweaking
- Difficult

The game can be completed in about 3 hours, depending how scared you are and randomly lucky.

I really enjoyed 35MM, it is more than just a walking sim. It has action, horror and the atmosphere and the sounds are very ominous. They make you feel like you one of the few survivors in a vast and empty wasteland. While walking you have a constant menacing and eerie feeling that something bad is going to happen... The game is set in post-apocalyptic Russia and the environment and gameplay does not disappoint.

All in all a very good indie game!

The Good:
+ Ominous atmosphere
+ Great sounds and effects
+ Good story
+ Good voice acting

The Bad:
- Could use graphic improvements
- One or two tiny bugs, nothing game breaking
- Some badly translated parts

The game can be completed in about 3 hours, depending on your pace.

This is the prequel of The Norwood Suite and it is free to play on steam. I started out with The Norwood Suite so I just had to play this. Again Cosmo D does not disappoint! Surreal, great soundtracks and with a lot of bizarre art, rooms and characters to discover.

The Good:
+ Surreal atmosphere
+ Great Soundtrack
+ Free to Play

The game can be completed in about 30 minutes and is the prequel to The Norwood Suite.

Rooooaarrr! You just cannot help cheering when your Gladiators crush the opponent! Every time my gladiators fought in the Colosseum I turned up the music and found myself clapping, cheering and shouting random things like "Slaughter them!". I cheer them on while I watch those little pixel guys chop off heads and arms. A bit brutal, but its pixels... so what's the real harm, right? :D

This game is simply amazing. With beautiful pixel art that lets my imagination run wild. You run your own Ludus and you have the power. You can set your little gladiators free, put them to death or make them fight in an ancient arena. There are Lions, chariot races, bloody fights and other awesome stuff.

It's impressive how a pixel game like this can really induce various emotions. You'll have favorites which you will dress up in the most expensive armor and reward with wine and coin. While you will discard others easily if they are too flawed.

I would also like to add that the developer is awesome! He listens, debugs and is constantly active updating and improving the game. I had a problem with posting the twitter animations of my battles and after a bit of correspondence he found the bug and fixed it. Now I can tweet all my victories and show off my gladiator stock.

The game is very elaborate. You have to train and upgrade your Gladiators, pick skills from a skill tree and you can hire up to 3 employees who give you various perks, some we're overpowered but I'm sure they will get an update sometime. . You have to keep both the Magistrate and Legate happy and keep your resources stocked up.

I ended up playing Domina hours on end, the Saturday came and went. This game made me re-watch the Gladiator movie. I love it when you get so involved with a game that time stands still. A 10/10 for me!

Top lines I shouted while my gladiators fought:
Slaughter Them!
Are you not entertained!?
Muwhwhahahaha
Roaaaarrr
Kill them all!
Nooooooo!! (when my guys got crushed)
This is Spartacus, B**ch!

The Good:
+ Amazing pixel art
+ Invokes emotion
+ You really want to win and crush the opponent
+ Great music and sound effects
+ Skilltrees, upgrades and more

The Bad:
- Nothing, I love this game!

You can play this game over an over again, casually or spend a full day tweaking and testing skills and other things.

And be sure to check out the @DominaGame twitter feed where people can post their battles:
