Ok so this game caught me by surprise. I had heard negative things about it, but saw it on sale. As a big fan of SciFi anything, it certainly intrigued me and DAMN, i'm glad i got it.

This game has the most dynamic, branching paths of nearly any game out there. Divinity, Original Sins 2 rivals this but unlike that game, THIS game has fully acted cutscenes for every possible path! Crazy! This must have taken over a year to shoot this beast of a script! At the end of each chapter, you are presented with a flowchart of every path you didn't take, but could have. Its simultaneously a way to demonstrate the narrative dynamism and a reason to replay the game.

With no spoilers, what really got me was towards the end some characters i really cared about were facing the final obstacle and I genuinely f-ed it up. I chose the wrong choice trying to be greedy and save everyone and I was punished harder than my dad with a spiky leather belt. Holy crap I've never had a game literally leave me aghast with a choice I've made before. I was like "no way would the game let this actually happen" but the game INDEED, let that happen.

The main con i would mention is the game really bonks you over the head with androids = slaves from 1830, which totally assumes that they are equal to humans, instead of questioning it. Also, there are a few chapters so linear that there is zero point on replaying. Besides that gripe, amazing game.
