Meh game personally. Fun if you learn how to play it.
But I just happened to join at the end of a war and there isn't really anything to do except piss around and wait.
I wasn't going to do either.

Good game if you like this sort of thing.

Stick to the original.
Unless you like over simplified gameplay, horrible outfits that all look the same, microtransactions for the horrible outfits, the same maps in the original and people that look like sweaty playdoh.

I love this game so much,
DO NOT mod it to 60fps, 30 is fine and the physics/facial animations rely on 30.

The graphics may seem dated on most textures, but the realism and believability of the characters faces and poses really stand out and havn't been better by any other game. When it comes to the details of some things such as lighting and shadows it really shines. Short but worth it. The controls are perfect. Easily the funnest VR game ive played.

As for system requirements, I am running this on a GTX 970 with a HTC Vive and it works perfectly.

This game is NOT dead. Will major updates are only every year or less, if you play the beta version the updates are alot more frequent, go to their website, join their Discord, the community and devs are VERY active there and the game is being worked on still.

Original Review (at 31 hours of playtime)
Ignore all Negative reviews saying "The controls suck", "It's impossible to hit anything"
or "the story mode sucks".

This game is a proof of concept, and the controls are great.
There is just a steep learning curve. If you're having trouble controlling the game
just watch a youtube video on how to play, the game is amazing.

Also you can dress up a fat dude as a monk and beat people up with sticks and brooms.

It's fun, It's funny, it's Super Trench Attack!

Great game, definately worth it no matter the price.

I only give this a thumbs up because the game simply isnt ready yet! In the few hours ive played ive been killed for no apparent reason, killed by a pair of hunters gathering food.. And I was shot to death because I ran excitedly towards my first airdrop.
This game isnt ready yet and I have thought of MANY things that NEED to be in this game.
1. More advanced graphical settings.
2. Some to stop players harming other players, or looting from boxes owned by someone, (but only on non PVP servers because on non PVP servers, people WILL kill you, the admins do nothing.)
3. OFFLINE PLAY! Come on, should of thought about it. Srsly. Pick a map, some other settings n such and just play by yourself.
4. No zombies! or atleast make them slow. they are fast as hell and glitch and bug about like mad.
5. Planks of wood should cost less wood to make. (like 5 not 10). All the servers i've played on are completely littered with unfinished bases, if people have to gather a million wood just to make a house, then they will give up and not bother.

I overal like the game, but theres alot more needed to make it playable by casual gamers.
