Early Access Review
For $15, this game that looks like Roblox does the Battlefield experience better than what Battlefield and its competitors have been trying to do for the past 5 years. The game doesn't look like much, but the amount of content this game has to offer activates 4 out of my 5 neurons. Highly recommend for avid Battlefield and Squad enjoyers!

It's Garry's Mod. What could I say that hasn't already been said?

Seriously one of the best games of all time. Although the game hasn't received any major update in a long time (Other than the Last Stand Update), it has received many minor updates to fix small issues. It just has so much replayability. If you like mowing down hordes of infected with lead and machetes, then this games for you.

I Really Like This Game
I found this game very addictive. People might have other thoughts, but I find it very enjoyable, and strategic.

The basics of the game is that you and another player are trying to get your magic orb into your alter. You can try to trick your opponent by placing decoys, locking doors, sending monsters, and more. There is only 1 map, which there are:
  • 4 classrooms
  • 1 Hallway
  • 1 Maze?
The first problem that you could see is that there is only one map. I don't find it that bad, but it is a problem to some other people. The other problem is that you go against one player. I would like it so that you could have a 2v2, or even a 3v3.

A problem for me (and others) is that there is no 'elo' system. I don't enjoy playing this game mostly because the people I go against are not as experienced as me. I find it difficult to play against anybody except for my friend, and even then I still have to wait for them to know the mechanics and such.

A big problem is that this game hasn't been updated in a long time. If the devs put their time into this game, and put at least a better lobby system, then I'd be very happy.

As of right now, the game still feels like it's in early development. But I think if the devs worked a tad bit more, then this would be a masterpiece.

The biggest problem is how many people are playing (There's not a lot). The community is very small, and not a lot of the players are experienced enough to play this game comepetively. Those who are good at this game don't have anybody to play against, either. I don't necessarily blame the people for this problem, but instead the devs. If they put a ranked mode, and had elo, then this game would be much much better than it is right now.

The biggest thing about the low population is the paradox: Nobody's playing it because nobody's playing it. That's the problem only WE can fix.

TL;DR
It's a fun game with amazing mechanics, but there is only one map (Which isn't even that bad). You only go against one player, and there are some tiny bugs. But at that; the gameplay makes up for it.

Pros:
  • Gameplay is strategic
  • Skull is customizable
  • Multiple Rune combinations
  • Easy to learn
Cons:
  • There is only one map
  • It's possible for a closed door to appear open
  • Only one gamemode
  • Only 1v1
What The Devs Should Do:
  • Add in Ranked
  • Have Elo
  • Add 3v3 and/or 2v2
  • More maps?
  • Just update the game

I found Arma 3 to be my favorite Arma game played. It's a fun simulator that supports mods (which can bring in even more realism).

*TLDR is at the bottom*

Unlike Arma 2, you can customize your whole entire person. You can put hats on your guy, place different scopes on your gun, wear a mask if you want. It's amazing!

Now one of the problems I have with the game is the DLC. It isn't required to get the DLC, but highly recommended. If you wear any DLC items that you don't have, there will be ads popping up in your face, which is a big no. BUT I do understand why Bohemia does this.
I do want to get the Jets DLC and LoW DLC, but I currently don't have any money to spare for them. But that doesn't stop me from enjoying this amazing game.

Another problem, which happens with everyone, is low framerate. This game is awful with its framrate. At silent, and calm points you can get up to 50 frames. But once you go into the battlefield, you're getting a max of 30 frames, sometimes dipping down to 10 frames. There isn't really any way to fix this permanently, but a buffy computer could help?
After playing with the game for a while, you'll get used to the horrid framerate, and play it properly.

My last problem (which is also VERY MINOR) is the walking, and running. If you have to walk from point a-b without a vehicle, then your ♥♥♥♥♥♥. This part of the game is what I'd like to call "Walking Simulator". You just walk for 10 minutes straight doing jack-all.

TLDR: Arma 3 is a fantastic game, but it's not optimized to its max, and has a few bugs and problems. It does support a lot of mods which can make this game even better. I would highly recommend buying this game if you have the money, and you're into simulators.

TL;DR This is the free to play equivalent to H1Z1 and PUBG that actually isn't pay to win (yay). Pros and cons are at the very bottom.

So this is basically like every single battle royale game. You spawn in, you find guns, and then you shoot people. Whoever is the last man standing wins.

Let's start off at what happens each round of BR. Multiple players are spawned at a certain location, and not by parachute. Usually, when you spawn, you are next to basically a small loadout. There is an electrical field which you must not go through (Since I don't know what it does, I'm just gonna assume it damages you over time). After a couple of minutes, the electrical field gets a bit smaller, and then waits a few more minutes before going again. Last man standing wins! Yay.

Now to the things you have with you! You have your weapons, attachments, and items. Of course, weapons is the guns that you can use, attachments are the things you can put on your guns, and items range from medkits and pills, to grenades and body armor.

For the weapons, there are a vast amount of guns you can use on the field (My favorite is the vector). Each one is slightly unique with what you can put on it, and what damage it does.

For every weapon, you can place attachments. There are about 2 different types of every attachment, each one being specific to that weapon type. For instance; You can't put this extended magazine on this smg because it can only go on assault rifles. Simple enough. For each sight attachment, I find that iron sights are just fine. They are so good, that you can easily use one in medium range combat. If you do want an amazing sight on your gun, then the acog is the way to go! It is obviously a 4x scope, but it has by far the smallest crosshair of the sights, making it the best for medium-long range targets. I really don't know what the use is for barrel attachments and laser sights, but I'm sure laser sights help with hip fire, which is something that everyone does when in cqb. When it comes to the grips, they mainly help with control of the gun, so yeah.

For items, they vary from grenades, to pills. Grenades act like grenades. pills are op as all hell (4-second cooldown, but gives like ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ 40 hp back). Medkits do something. Shields! There are two types of shields that I know of; The wooden shield, and the steel shield. The wooden one comes down within a lot of hits, but a grenade can easily take it down. For the steel shield; I haven't a single clue how much better it is. Body Armor! As far as I know, there are 3 types of body armor; 300 Armor Vest, 600 Armor Vest, and 900 Armor Vest. I believe it works something like counter strike, where it decreases the amount of damage you take.

Now let's get into browsing and ♥♥♥♥ like that. Right now (Which is Apr 16th), people can't join and get disconnected because of the amount of players. So a lot of the gameplay is lost due to a kick or something. There have been a few occasions where I have just been disconnected from the server, and I don't know why. The hit boxes are barely shady, with only a bullet or two missing the target. The model animations are not the best, and look like we are playing on a beta game.

Here are some of my personal complaints, but I think some people would agree with me too;
- Just add parachutes ffs. It's fun (The only reason I can think of as to why they didn't is that their map is a bit too small)
- Add more maps! More maps: More people (idk if that's true)
- Add some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ vehicles. You have ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ roads!
- Have random objective zones (At least have it on major towns, yeah?)
- Let one lean to the right! I just want this to be a thing.
- Replace body armor with actual vests. It'll add more realism to the game
- Have bullet physics. It isn't that much of a problem, I just think it would be a better decision.

And with that, let's get into the pros and the cons!

________________________________________________________________________________

Pros:
- Not P2W
- Customizable guns
- Good weapon mechanics
- Free
- Smooth movement
- One can use iron sights without being crap
- Can run on my windows 98
- Actually decent graphics

Cons:
- Poor optimization in some places
- Made by free reign, so it's automatically bad (according to Bizalho who hasn't played the game for a single ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ minute)
- No vehicles
- Bad spawn points on the Proving Grounds game mode
- $2 animations (Why does a $2 bill cost ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ $8?)
- Not PUBG

In short; Amazing

Although a bit linear, one could make a very open story to this. I have made a couple videos on amazing stories that I just could not blow away! The combat is very great for a source game, and although the game is very challenging, people can make it through the whole entire chapter/episode/etc. I think one of the points that makes this game are the stories left behind in each map, so story time!

I jumped over a fence leading into a dark alleyway, lit only by a dim yellow lamp. Four others stood waiting for me. Out of the pitch blank on the opposite side of the path, an infected girl walked into the light. One survivor starts to strike at her with his wrench, saving bullets for later. Strike after strike, the infected girl finally latched onto him, and started to chew on him. With an effort to survive, the man pulled out his handgun, and fired 4 shots into her abdomen. Having little effect, she continued to eat him, and the man fell. Another survivor who wore a black cap, Deven, shot an arrow into the infected's head, dropping her onto the cement. As we search our fallen brother's corpse, one of the other screams "no!" With one brother less, We move on.

A few minutes after the incident, I found a chainsaw, which still worked. We also caught up with more survivors whilst trying to get across the city. All of us had to escort Devin whilst he pushed a cart down to grab some fuel for our escape. I was in the front, mowing down a lot of infected, while the others shot down the rest. Gun shots covered the city. After a while of sawing down infected, I ran out of fuel, decided to get back for a few, looting houses and such. I managed to grab a shotgun, and some shells. Then, all of a sudden, the gunshots died down. I ran out to the streets to see no friends in sight, not even Devin, but only the walking dead.

"Dammit..."

I walked down the streets, shooting the heads of my now dead friends and others. "This is it," I thought. "I'm the last one alive." No one was anywhere. No one was talking. No one was in sight. I was thinking about putting the gun to my head, but then I heard what was a handgun nearby a truck. I grabbed a pistol off the ground, and made my way to the gunfire.

As I made my way to him, an infected ran up to me, and grabbed me. I pulled out my pistol, and emptied my mag into her brains. There was only one bullet left. I ran up, and saw a survivor, Felix. He was pinned in the truck, shooting off hordes of infected. I pulled out both my handgun and my shotgun, and helped him out. As he got out, I covered the area. There were still many more infected in the area. We couldn't turn back. Not yet. So we set forth. I knew there were still others out there, right?

We went forth, and killed a bunch of infected. I soon ran out of ammo for both guns, so I dropped them. The only thing I could use was a wrench. After bashing some infected brains, we went to the corner of a street. Felix had 2 guns; a sniper rifle, and a pump action shotgun. I looked at him, with our guns pointed at the infected. So I finally spoke.

"Give me one of your guns."

"Alright." He handed me his sniper rifle. I took the gun, and looked at the horde of infected, inching slowly towards us.

"You thinking what I'm thinking?" He looked at me. He and I both knew this was going to happen eventually.

"Yeah."
