Reviewing only the campaign mode .

I have been a Gears fan from the inception of the ip but with a heavy heart I have to say that Gears 5 is quite kinda disappointing imo . Don't get me wrong its a freaking enjoyable game esp for avid third person shooter lovers . The tag cover shooting is really satisfying and graphics and aesthetics of the levels with weather physics is really amusing esp on high end pcs . Where it mostly fails is delivering in game memorable setpieces like there are in the Gears 1-3 for example like the reever sky battle in Gears 2 , then the spider layer in Gears 3 and the train battle in Gears 1 . The script is boring to a certain level and I really didn't feel for the characters like I felt in the previous installments . The gameplay culminates basically walking linear paths , shooting bunch of locusts , pressing some switches to open up locked doors rinse and repeat . Oh yes there are 2 chapters which offers semi open world explorable locations which can be traversed using a ski like transport . Scattered all over the locations are uncharted optional side quests which need to be explored in order to start the mission . Those side quests are basically scavenge hunts with little to no contextual value and it really feels like a chore to play . The open locations really felt unnessary to me .

Still with all the grips overwhelming the positives to incentivize me not to recommend this game , I still do . It really offers an average length of 15 - 20 hrs of shooting gameplay which is pretty good imo

Moderately recommended . If you don't have anything good to play and have 15 hrs of leisure time you may pick this up .

A piece of art from another realm of the universe . Shame to humankind Okami didn't receive the love and appreciation that it really deserves .

A MASTERPIECE

DOOM !!! Truth be told the game is much more intense , gory and over the top than the bold lettered name of the game suggests . Its an omage to the old school areana based high octane scooter with addition of modern fps features such as weapon mods , collectibles and platforming . So long story short here are some pros and cons :

Pros :
1) Intense action
2) Glory kills ( because killing enemies by shooting is too mainstream )
3) Intricate level designing with amazing contraptions and platforming
4) Bada## weapons ranging from shotguns , assault rifles , pistols
5) Ability to carry all weapons and the same time which means players are not limited to only 2 weapons unlike modern fps
6) The chainsaw taking dismembering enemies to another level
7) Various types of demon enemies with their own strategies and attack patters
8) DOOMSLAYER
9) Level design and aesthetics


Cons :

1) Only 3 bosses
3) No story , I mean there is one for the sake of the game but its not worth mentioning
4) Niche featured multiplayer

Finally DOOM is a must play for both old school and modern players even if only to blow everything up . If someone is pissed or angry , playing DOOM is a great opportunity to vent their anger and release catharsis .

A must play

Was that a game or a dream ??? This game made be go through such a bizarre and unique experience that one could get in a lifetime . Let me be clear its a walking simulator blended with simple but intriguing murder mysteries , puzzle solving and exploring a mesmerizing serene location filled with mysteries , solitude and tranquility . The game puts the player on the shoes of supernatural detective Paul Prospecto who after receiving a letter from a 12 year old fan called Ethan , arrives at his hometown to learn what really happen to Ethan . Gradually the detective learns what really happened to Ethan by exploring Ethan's hometown , solving puzzles and murders which unveils a codex / writing regarding Ethan's past . So after the intro here are the pros and cons of the game in my opinion :

Pros :
1) Lush and serene environment that offers a unique tranquility just to walk around in solitude .
2) Variation in environment
3) Perfectly fitting backgroud music
4) Simple puzzles
5) Mysterious atmosphere
6) Near perfect blend of exploration , puzzle solving , mystery and ambience

Cons :

1) Confusing ending
2) The game is kinda short roughly around 6 hrs

Overall :

Throughly enjoyed the game Easily a 09 / 10 for me .

Although this is my second playthrough , I an enjoying this game every bit the way I enjoyed first time I played it back in 2013 . Its one of the best games that came out in last decade . The huge tropical island setting and the opportunity to roleplay anyway you like makes this game so riveting that its hard to keep the controller down or get afk . Even if the game is around 8 years old , it has aged pretty well and the real graphical fidelity of the game is realized now playing it on ultra setting with 60 fps the premise looks so beautiful . So without exaggerating the intro lets get straight to pros and cons :

Pros :

2) Meticulously detailed tropical island

4) Variety in gameplay

6) Ability to approach anyway the player wants

This is how to treat a superhero videogame showing proper respect and honor to the batman character . Arkham Asylum treats Batman as he should be treated . The game lets players to really feel how it is like to be Batman . Utilizing all the gadjets of Batman in game , an intuitive detective mode , the introduction of rhythmic combat system makes this game soooo great to play . The cast of all the legendary batman villains in this game and thir part in the plot as a hole fits perfectly and every villain and character plays a vital role as a whole in the plotline .

Arkham Asylum is an epitome of superhero games which any developers keen to make a superhero game should take inspiration from .

A great adaptation of the DC characters belonging to the batman franchise . The tailored script is engaging and exciting with great voice acting , balanced genres of setpieces and scenes and moments that really strengthens the relationships between the characters . Any adventure game lover specially a Batman fan would find the game very likeable and enjoyably .

Overall :

Borderlands Pre sequel is an enjoyable game but compared to the standard its predecessor Borderlands 2 set , it fails living up to that . It is devoid of incredible dynamic locations , strong cohesive plot and narration , plethora of memorable funny characters and most importantly some amazing add on contents . Still gunplay , loot and cell shaded graphics carries the entire game and I recommend the game for old borderlands fans . Those who are new to the series , skip this one as an introduction entry and play Borderlands 2 first .

Well this game is a Witcher 3 wannabe covered on the veneer of the name of Assassin's Creed franchise . It feels very disappointing when you found your favorite game lost its identity an to become something that it isn't . So lets get to pros and cons of the game .

Pros :

1) Huge breathtaking open world . There is no such gaame available yet where the beautiful and mysterious world of Egypt is such meticulously realized and developed . No single location looks the same and the details invested creating the open world are astoundingly stunning .

2) A plethora of content . There are a lot of things to do do and explore where you can spend around 150 - 200 hours depending on your playstyle .

3) Exploration is engaging , intuitive and interesting .

4) Dynamic wildlife makes the world more realistic .

5) Discovery tour . Feels the a archaeological field trip which gives player a lot of insights about history of Egypt .

Cons ;

1) Dumb AI .

2) Bland Combat system

3) Few cutscenes to fleshout the story

4) Boring mission design . No branching paths , no decision system .

5) Niche roster of characters and NPCS to care about .

6) The main character does not have an engaging backstory and impressive personality .

7) Storyline is kinda boring .

8) Does not feel like an assassin creed game .

So , with its fair share of problems , I still enjoyed the game due to its well realized world of Egypt and tonns of content .

Rocket league is a fun game to play with friends and family . The concept of playing football with cars is realy funny and enjoyable . The game is really easy to jump into as anyone who grabs the controller can start playing it without knowing much about the mechanins BUT tbt , it is really hard to master the different skills of the supercars to score goals and provide strong defence . So the player need to practice a lot to hone up their skills to dominate in every match otherwise they will keep on spinning their cars around the firld getting owned . The huge assortment of cars both original and licensed are very impressive and most of the soundtracks are simply incredible . It is a very addictive game if played with friends and skill is properly mastered . The servers are really good which creats a matchmaking within seconds .

I'll give rocket league 8 / 10 . A very fun and enjoyable game to play with friends
