If you’re planning to play all routes, it doesn’t really matter which one you should go first, because all of them really hit the spot. But maybe save Kanna’s for last, since a lot of info is revealed in her route compared to the others.

Brings me back memories of Sanoba Witch: having a unique way to deal with emotions, but it also feels surprisingly fresh.

I have nothing to complain about the execution. But it’s interesting that some route-specific incidents that could possibly be bound to happen didn’t get mentioned in different routes. On the other perspective, it might be best that the devs leave room for imagination.


Kanna route as said earlier, reveals a lot of info, including about the protagonist’s himself, background lore, and even the stuff that you might not realize that it has a meaning. If you are the type of person that could cry while watching movies, you sure will shed tears.

Replaying after clearing her route is also an interesting experience; at first you didn’t know why she acted like that around Kousei, but now you acknowledge the reason behind it.

Natsume route reflects a lot about life. Her route is the only one where you have a chance to take a look at the protagonist’s face clearly.

Nozomi route reflects on how one should interpret others’ actions.

Mei route reminded me how romantic a love confession scene could be. Her problem at her age may be difficult to solve on her own, but could mean the world to a person.

Suzune route quotes “learn from the past and keep moving forward.”

Most of the music in the list are perfect for relaxing; there’re bossa nova, lofi etc.

The character theme songs in this game are so good and go very well with their personalities. Kanna’s theme warms my heart, Nozomi’s theme is really catchy and upbeat, while Natsume’s just slaps.

The protagonist, Takamine Kousei, is one heck of a dreamer.

His dad, Takamine Kazufumi, gives good advice. But you really don’t know much about him before you play Kanna’s route.

Mikado is very elegant and a perfect straight man. (also an adorable cat)

Akizuki Kanna Very kind and caring. Mischievous face reader. Her cafe uniform kinda looks like a blue butterfly huh. Her Grim Reaper outfit design also has a very cool detail.

Shiki Natsume Cool and cute. About the same age as Kousei, but a lot more emotionally stable.

Sumizome Nozomi is Kousei's cheerful younger childhood friend. Appears mature but surprisingly childlike if you’re close enough with her.

Hiuchidani Mei is also energetic, positive, playful, and genuine. She is the type of person that is fun to tease, and could be either on the extreme side or a straight man when it comes to comedy.

Shioyama Suzune is mature, reliable, gives good advice, and competitive. But also, “living with parents is the best; no need to move and everything is done,” she quotes.

Shioyama Hiroto is that one friend who hangs out with you a lot. Also his girl-treating standard is off the charts.

The thing is, other than the lovebirds, Kanna and Mei themselves could be a comedian, Mikado in cat form+Mei = circus, Hiroto+Natsume+Kousei = comedian group, the girls together = precious(also comedians)

After clearing a route, except for Suzune’s, a new title screen background is unlocked.
After clearing all routes, sprite mode is unlocked.
After clearing all routes including after stories, title screen #7 is unlocked.
