This is one of the best games I've ever played. I never play games like this but I got it for free on another platform and then bought it for myself years later on Steam. The story is engaging all the way through, it's visually breathtaking, the soundtrack is impactful and really stands out from the rest. I can't overstate how good this game is.

Truly a spectacular game in its 1.0 state. This is the most fun I've ever had with a factory game, and it's definitely in my top games of all time list. Everything is very carefully thought out, intentional, balanced, and accessible. There's a million ways to play this game and none of them are boring or wrong.

The developers listen to the community and have a great history of games, some of which you can still see influences and remnants of in Satisfactory. They've clearly learned a lot over the years of making games and remember those lessons. Totally worth the full price, but do be warned that price extends beyond monetary value, sacrifice your time and soul to the factory!

Exceptional sequel and LOTS of fun no matter what background you come from. This game does an exceptional job of being fun for veterans of the automation genre while also being accessible enough that complete newcomers can get enjoyment out of it.

Veterans will find Shapez 2 to be a magnificent take on the automation genre, as it takes a lot of the things that bother me about other games in the genre and makes them incredibly intuitive or automatic, and instead directs your attention to the enjoyable part, restructuring, optimizing, and scaling up. Shapez 2 makes it so easy and enjoyable to make HUGE, EFFICIENT, AND ORGANIZED factories, while still letting you do the legwork of optimization and design.

For example, Factorio has you progress about 50% of the way through the game before you can copy and paste buildings/blueprints. Shapez 2 gives it to you in the tutorial. While it might seem like this would rush you through the game, it's because it constantly encourages you to break away from what simply works, and instead to optimize the hell out of your designs so you can keep using them indefinitely. This game is like a love letter to the automation genre that anyone, new or old, can enjoy.

it's like making dioramas but without any of the annoying parts! I hope the developers add more stuff for us to add to our houses... Pipes, bridges, and tents would be really nice....

it's pretty clear this game is made by one person or a very very small team, because this one's ROUGH

Aiming feels like ♥♥♥♥ compared to Bodycam, and the sights are completely useless. Also there's an unskippable 6 second animation of the title and dev name that plays every time you go back to the main menu and it's wildly annoying. All that being said, it's only $6 and it's pretty fun despite the lack of polish. I'll be interested to see where this goes.

Kinda fun, but the anti-cheat makes it run like crap and now it doesn't work on my Steam Deck, where I spent a lot of time playing. After you beat the game/story making money is absurdly difficult offline. Buyer beware.

Other reviews have said it but I'll echo them. This is VERY guided, it's a super entertaining story, but there's very little gameplay beyond walking around and observing the setting these developers have lovingly crafted. The graphics are phenomenal, it's oozing with style, voice acting is solid (not great but definitely NOT distracting or campy).

The story reminds me a lot of the first season of Altered Carbon, which I enjoyed immensely. I'll be finishing this game over multiple short sessions with a drink in hand when I don't feel like using my brain after a long day at work.

Definitely the best arcade rally game available, cars are very easy to pick up, highly customizable, and the game doesn't try to be too realistic. Rush Rally 3 maintains a nice balance of fun and challenge that's easy to pick up and put down at a moment's notice

I'm somewhat new to the racing sim and rally genre, however I've played enough of Dirt Rally 2.0 and other racing games to tell how this one is different. As of today, this game runs great (60+) without stutters at medium graphics on my RTX 2070M and I have to say I'm having a blast

The physics are much better tuned than Dirt Rally 2, I can really feel weight transferring through the car and asphalt no longer feels like driving on oil. I adjusted to the handling of the cars very quickly and I've been driving faster and more controlled than I ever have in DR2. Compared to something like Assetto Corsa I'd say the controls are a little snappier, but not in an unpredictable way. Typically I drive rally cars with my steering set to 540 degrees but WRC feels better at 400 for this reason. I do have to say the audio design needs a little improvement, the game sounds *fantastic* but it's not quite as realistic as DR2. If I puncture or lose a tire in DR2 I can immediately tell which one it is just by listening to the sounds of the car, in EA WRC not only does it seem like my tires are nearly invincible, I can't hear which one it is. That being said, you can repair your tires roadside at no penalty (at least in time trial mode) in EA WRC so this is kind of a moot point.

I think where EA WRC really shines is in the force feedback. I'm not a rally driver and I don't race cars, so I'm kind of just guessing here, but through each turn, jump, and bump, you can really feel the car react and transfer its weight. It's a difficult thing to describe with words, but going at 110mph around a 5 left, you can feel the gravel sliding under the wheels and fighting you while you steer, but it's easy to gauge how much force you need to give it before you spin out. You can feel when you approach turns too fast, or when your steering isn't quite aligned with the direction you're sliding. It's truly responsive and I immediately saw improvement in my own driving compared to DR2.

For all intents and purposes this is Dirt Rally 3.0 and I'm quite happy with that. I wish it wasn't published by EA but if that's what it took, I can accept that. I'm just happy to finally get behind the wheel of the WRC GR Yaris and wrap myself around some trees.
