PROS:

-Insanely good art direction. This game knows what its themes are and it delivers them in such a powerful and a coherent way that every new area had me sitting there for a couple of minutes just enjoying the atmosphere. From the music, to the landscapes, to the characters, everything is incredibly well done. Also, the team clearly spent a lot of time studying their references and it shows.

-Narration is sparce and mysterious, yet thrilling and epic at times, much like actual religious material. It helps getting you into the mood of the game and keeps you thinking. If you care to research the history of Cvstodia you will feel rewarded for your effort.

-Exploration is greatly encouraged and mostly well thaught. Especially on a NG+ run, you will feel like a god travelling around the map as you please, figuring out new paths to reach certain paces in the shortest time possible

-Great variety in builds, playstyles and abilitys allows the player to employ specific strategies for every fight. This can be done on different attempts or in the same attempt thanks to real time equipment changing.

-Combat feels super nice and fluid, with many fights feeling like proper challenges while remaining fair and absolutely balanced for both hardcore challenges and easygoing gameplay.

-Overall a clean experience with few technical problems, mainly some annoying bugs and janky interactions. For example: landing on the edge of a platform may result inn you falling anyways. Enemies can get stuck mid jump or attack animation. Some enemies may have hitboxes slightly desync with their model. Stuff like that. That being said, these issues rarely impact your expperience significantly.

CONS:

-Lots of backtracking the "good old days" way, with few fast travels unless you know about the donations system already. It may frustrate some players

-Cryptic quests that can easily never be completed without a guide due to unclear timing requirements.

Love the concept, but I'm not the biggest fan of the way the multiplayer works. Stil an overall enjoyable playthrough.

It's fine for goofs and gaffs with friends. I like the shard cards system, gunplay and most abilities. Although the sounds are often extremely confusing, the weapon economy does not exist even though it pretends otherwise, AI stank is everywhere and the menus are almost as hard to navigate as Football Manager's.

It was once my favourite game, now it's just a fond memory

The most frustating ♥♥♥♥ i have ever played. I'd rather have a full playthrough of Dark Souls 3 with an electrocution device that zaps my round ones every time I get hit than trying to play the DLCs.
