Money well spent!
I played the non-boss variant (same upgrade/skill system but against multiple enemies) and also felt it to be enjoyable.

Short, meaningfull upgrades and decently challenging bossfights. (screw these laserturrets!^^)

BEAUTIFUL!
Slow, fast, funny, dramatic, cant tell much more positive things without spoiling something.

I was in absolute TEARS when we had the bike-chase together and had to make the bike selfdestruct!
A few minutes later and I found myself completly lost in a small magical town sipping on various potions and shooting at my buddy with a wand doing funny things to him. I love it!

Already game of the year nominee for sure!

Well its a game. There was an idea. I can see a person having their first try developing this game mostly based of an idea they had and not further flashing out details.
The problem is that the controlls are not intuitive. The highlighting is good and absolutely necessary.
- there are some options to zoom in and out but they are pointless as soon as you get to the point where you fill out the screen on the max zoomed out setting.
- you can not use your scrollwheel on your mouse
- the number you have to find when reaching "20K digits after the dot" just cant be found since the game at one point just cuts the numer of pi like so: "3.14(followed by a lot of digits)2563...XXX" (where XXX just displays the newest added numbers). I expect that I wont be able to find the following numbers aswell so I just stop playing now.

I just assume the game did not get tested to the point where I now stopped playing which is about 1/3 into the game.

Wholesome game.
It felt a bit tedious to move from A to B and back a lot but I guess clever production-building placement would have prevented that. Just hard to know what to build where.
(Hint: usually build the refinery buildings next to the ressources they refine. It will save you some time.)

The soundtrack was nice and it was quite fitting to the game.

Would love to have some automation going somehow. Maybe an bird pecking the wood, a ram hitting on stone/crystal and so on. Would not have to be much but especially in the mid-/lategame I felt like I was just hitting wood 50% of the time.

The start is kinda slow but it ramps up in speed and fun quite fast after 4-5 runs once you got your first characters leveled up to above level 10 (to unlock their masteries).

Early Access Review
You like to grind for gear?
You like roguelikes?
You like making your own builds and tweaking your gear to perfection?

This game is for you! The full game has a few QoL-features the demo does not.
Level 50 is max (for now?). You can respec for free at any time, big inventory, tons of mods and so much to tweak.
18 Skills which can have 6 support-"skills" each allowing for so much customisation.
As long as you havent unlocked all tablets/passives/etc you will still be able to find more things to unlock and have more to tweak.

For 10,- € this game is definetly worth to buy before it WILL get more expensive after it launches out of EA.

The game just might need a little tweaking when it comes to optimasation because my 3-skill-multiple-projectile-autobomber-build started to lag the game quite a bit but I honestly expected that.^^

Free to play and might aswell cost 1,- € for the experience.
Smooth upgrade experience with a neat sounddesign (the click-clack from the arrows).
Dont want to spend money on a short upgrade-game? Play this game.

Wholesome little upgrade-game. Definetly worth the money.

Took me 2 1/2 hours to beat with some extended grinding. Could be beatable in two hours. Still worth the money for the experience.
the prestige upgrades made the prestigeing feel fair (you dont have to start from zero each time which I hate in other prestige games).

Easy recommendation. Absolute fair price for the experience I got.
I am casually into puzzles and had often made the experience with other games that the puzzles were too hard for me.
Here every puzzle (which there were many) felt pleasant to figure out.

The art/grafics/animations paired with the sounddesign (all the clickedies and clacks, heavy stone rubbing over survaces etc) made it realy enjoyable to play.
Had to hold myself from playing it in one session.
The story is there but not the main strong point in my opinion.

TLDR:
You like easy/moderatly hard puzzles and love a nice sounddesign and animatons? Play this game.
