So far so good, definitely recommend this game to any FPS player. Especially those who prefer 'real life' style game play. No silly perks, double jumps or need to unload a full clip to get a kill!

5 minute lag just for adjusting fade out of a clip by 0.5 seconds. To be fair it seems like a decent usable video editor until you start adding a few clips. All but give up trying to finish my first video. It has a few more features than Microsoft's Movie Maker but is far too clunky and slow to create anything. A shame as it's quite well designed. Can't recommend it over free Movie Maker.

If you like Oblivion or Skyrim - this is essential!

Sadly the worst game launch I can remember, not sure if the developers will recover from this with their horrific communication. Tried it again 2nd November 18 and the game runs like a bag of hammers. It's almost grayscale graphics even on lowest settings suffer from massive frame drops in any built up areas.

Unfortunately can't refund now, will try again in a few months.

I'm always a little reluctant to try free to play games - will it lack depth or will it be pay to win are my usual skeptical thoughts. To my surprise, Crossout is neither and is actually a fantastic little gem of a game!

Crossout is a post-apocalyptic MMO style game with a mixture of grinding, crafting and vehicular combat. There's both PVE and PVP elements, both offering different game play styles and rewards. Both modes include the option to play with up to 4 friends in a party system. Without going into too much detail on modes, there's the usual team deathmatch, domination, battle royale and clan battles.

There's an insane amount of customization and with a very simple and intuitive menu system, you're out on the badlands turning someone's pride and joy into a pile of scrap in no time.

Unfortunately, those of us without patience may claim it's pay to win. I won't argue it's possible to increase the rate you unlock more items and levels – however due to the leveling system you're only paired with people around the same power score. Even once you unlock high tier items, you can still build your vehicle to any power score. Having said that – for me personally the biggest draw of the game is the fun you have grinding through to the next unlock. The system isn't too drawn out and you're provided with a wealth of options quite early on!

Definitely a massively underrated game, give it a try!

Just thought I'd add my opinion to all the negative reviews. I've played using GF760 and now GF970 without any issues. In the 38 hrs game time to so far, I've had 1 disconnect and 2 matches where it's bugged. No frame rate issues, no lag issues and no connectivity issues (european servers).

Gameplay wise it's one of the most addictive, intense and fun games I've played in a long time. It's fun on solo and even more fun in duo or fives mode. There are no pay to win issues - you loot like everyone else to get geared up. Skins can be bought but that's no different to CS:GO and the like. Even the players who I've crossed pathed with in games often have respectful comments (maybe due to the fact I'm always the one losing out at the end!)

Only downside for me would be lack of weapons, would be good to see a little more choice. Also more aggressive, atmospheric sounds/music wouldn't go a miss!

(If anyone gets stuck on the loading screen, delete your character and re-create with one click. You lose nothing and it returns all your stats/gear, takes a few seconds and fixes that issue which is apparently being looked into)

I don't mind games with simple graphics but only if the gameplay and sound are acceptable. Sadly this game has neither going for it! The gunshot sound effects gave me a headache in less than an hour and the graphics on ultra look like something om 2006. Teams are always uneven and squad/friend system needs an overhaul for it to work correctly.

Now the onto the games core, it's gameplay: spawn in, die... spawn in, jump into trench, stick head up.. die! (repeat)

There is potential in there somewhere and don't be fooled by the recent update news, this is a waste of money. If this ever does reach the point it could be considered a game, it may be worth taking a look. Until then, be warned this in it's current state would hardly even pass as a demo. It's been as good as dead for a VERY long time. Suddenly the summer sale appears and they make a news update about patches... do not be fooled!

For me this is the 2nd best Call of Duty game only to Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare. Sadly I do not recommend you purchase this in 2014. Graphically on my Windows 8.1 machine with GTX760 and 16GB memory the game has serious issues with jumping frames and gives the impression you're experiencing severe lag. (Can't find a fix anywhere!)

Moreover, as you'd probably guess with any Call of Duty game, it's been destroyed by kids who think they're hackers. Having some wannabe hacker remove your rank is not un-common. Fair matches are not impossible to find however you never know who is using a mod or what advantage they have given themselves.

Also be warned there are no leaderboards and only a few of the game modes have any activity. Search and Destroy is completely dead.

It's a shame each Call of Duty game is abandoned by the developers so soon after final release, especially considering how much the gaming community has given them.

My karting days go way back to the godfather of karting games Super Mario Kart on the SNES. Having played the majority of clones and spin off games since, it'd be fair to say I'm in a decent position to give a valued and trusted opinion.

Aside from perhaps Speed Freaks on the PS1, this is hands down the best Mart Kart clone available today. The added flight and boat modes do not take away the fun or karting aspects of the game and really do enhance the experience. I definately recommend this to anyone who enjoys karting games or arcade style racing in general.

Well worth the £14 this game is currently listed as. If your lucky enough to catch it on Steam sale, grab it!
