There is a lot to unpack here.

I'm going to give this game a positive simply because it deserves to pass the generally positive threshold, mainsly for the story and artstyle.

The gameplay itself is simple and minimalistic, but does its job to keep the player entertained throughout the main story playtthrough for around 10 hours. And I do recommend giving it a shot as the plot develops in quite unexpected way with the intrigue thickening with every chapter. Towards the end we are not solving a local gang case anymore, but rather take down a whole conspiracy network that has been developing under everyone's noses. It is cleverly written and well paced, definitely the biggest highlight of the game.

However, at least at the very beginning, we might be thrown out of the immersion time and again by the gameplay mechanics which are not very intuitive and the tutorial does a poor job at explaining them. There is even a possibility of us running quickly out of funds and being forced to restart the game. Luckily, as soon as we get the hang of the base mechanics and the snowballing effect kicks in, there is no such threat abymore.

And with that we reach the point when the story ends, and with that, the game's content. We may still fill the contracts of different categories and play the minigames, but the variety is so little, that we are simply going to repeat the same generated events over and over again.

And if you are a trophy hunter you are going to go through them a lot. These broken-ass trophies do not count properly, still, 2 years after the issues have first been addressed. In order to obtain the ones with the highest numbers of cases from a single category, you are reuired to do as many as 500 more less similar events in one run, or else the counter will reset itself. If you aim for going 100% for it, you are going to spend over 50 hours on it,and to say it is overstaying its welcome at that point is to say nothing. And even if you manage to channel the unbelievable amounts of patience to get it done, some of the trophies are broken to the point where thei unlock in the game, but not on steam. So you are still going to end up with a couple of them missing. At least that's how I ended up and still haven't found the solution for some of them.

I once again recommend going through the main story as you might end up enjoying these 10 hours taken straight from the hollywood crime thriller. But be warned, that if you want to go for sth more, you're in for a journey through pain, mindless grind and frustration

Extremely enjoyable adventure soaking with deep atmosphere.
Gameplay style brings back memories from both Alice Madness Returns and 3D platformers from early 2000s.
The audio design is a true masterpiece, big shoutout to Olivier Deriviere and all of the collaborators.
I hope we will get more of the short, yet fascinating adventures like that in the future

Truly an unique experience blending elements of cozy game with carefully planned and masterfully crafted narrative. One of the best hours of gaming spent on this so far this year, some of them I will cherish for a long time

ZNAKOMITY polski walking sim w klimatach słowiańskich, czerpiący same najlepsze inspiracje z Zaginięcia Ethana Cartera.

Such a fantastic game. Light in gameplay, wonderfully minimalist in visuals, leaves you with a protagonist alone in the wilderness, who, being alone with himself, has to figure out how to handle a difficult situation in his life. Light and heavy at the same time, with a coolly woven mystery to solve. Fortunately, the achievements are implemented in the story almost integrally, so that getting additional achivki doesn't cause any extra effort.
Wonderful, engaging and emotional adventure.

I wish tere was a neutral option to choose, because this title would fit the category perfectly. Some of its aspects deserve the praise and appreciation, yet the technical side is so flawed I cannot fully recommend it without elaborating on the matter. Still, long time has passed since the premiere, and seeing this beautiful artstyle holding up so well convinced me, that this is still a game worth getting to know and play through.

+The base mechanics is fairly simple and classes well divided into specific roles thoughout battles. It's no Baldur's Gate, but for a relatively small title it is still impressive to see how easily one can adjust the team up to their preferred gameplay style.
+The story is also genuinely interesting. I just wish there was a voice acting implemented to give the characters even more personality.
+character, opponents and bosses designs are pleasing to the eye
+I could easily see the whole concept of the team wandering around England, almost as if taken straight out of a DnD session, as a core base for a much larger campaign. I was not fond of being forced to recover at mid-quest locations, but overall it didn't seem as that much struggle. I wish there was an option to do that in between combats or at least the more frequent presence of checkpoints, which as for now seem to be place quite randomly.

But BE WARNED - the experience may not be pleasant sometimes.
- Two or three revels tend to glitch in a way that forced me to restart them, after having battled though fierced and most satifactory combats of the whole playthrough. There's nothing more infuriating than the technical issue that block you from proceeding with progress.
- Some of the questions about the possible fixes to equipment glitches, that do not allow to modify it on some characters, have been raised over 5 years ago. By now no one probably still believes that will happen, so you just have to bear with it. I know it's frustrating, but it's not a game breaking matter.
- The tutorial is simply lacking some features. The promppt about movable barrels only pops up once, at the first level. The possibility to rotate characters even without action points is never explained. Since the tutorial is implemeneted in HUD, it should contain all the information provided for the player, not just a portion of it.
- The battle map is servicable, but far from decent. Due to lack of possibility to rotate the camera and moving it with WASD keys, it is sometime s hard to distinguish all the fields, especially with items placed on them like traps. Also, there should be a clear colour distinction between allies and enemies, so that the HP bars wouldn't blend with each other.

Overall the experience was fairly pleasant. Once a decent variety of skills is unlocked, there is plenty of fun to be had with abusing all the crazy movement abilities. The battles are challenging, yet satisfying in the end. I do not regret having put 20 hours into completion (mostly caused by dozen repetitions of two most frustrating levels). I just wish there was more effort put into QA and technical polish.

If you treasure original dark fantasy settings, don't hesitate to grab this one during one of the steam sales and give it a fair try, but be aware of everything I listed above.

Enjoyable, relaxing fantasy adventure game. Core potion crafting mechanic reminded me of good old days with alchemy on mobile phones. Gameplay tends to get repetitive and the level design is sometimes lacking towards the end, but the story is enjoyable enough to justify reaching the end credits.
A map could be useful though, to navigate around locations when planning on doing 100% completion.

Really cool concept.
I can already imagine myself preparing stuff for studies / work and having it run in background.

It is exactly what you would expect from the mobile ads for Lumber Tycoon etc, just a little bit simplified.
