Fun little survival on alien world/s early access game. Collect resources, build your base up, perform research and explore the surface and underground caverns (and then other planets/moons). Game is very much in alpha, but able to be enjoyed in single player currently, recognising that you will have some crashes and glitches. If you expect your games to be optimised, with polished controls and relatively bug free, then wait until release.

Multiplayer is enabled but I wouldn't recommend doing more than just taking a look. Sync issues are rampant and there appears to be no mechanism to routinely resync. When driving, lag can result in the non-host players getting ahead of landscape detail being rendered, causing physics issues when things pop in underneath or inside you. Falling through the terrain is a regular occurrence. Some messages e.g. research outcomes are only displayed to the host. Basically, the multiplayer allows others to jump into the hosts game and help them out. They don't have separate bases of their own and can't save their own progress - it simply saves to the host and non-host players rejoin from scratch, hoping to locate and raid their previous backpack (corpse). Potential to be an enjoyable co-op experience once the dev's get around to working on the multiplayer. They've apparently published a roadmap on their site/forum, but I've not taken a look at it yet to see where mp sits in their priority list.

As at the date of this review, only recommended if you plan on playing single player. Not recommended in its current state if you primarily want to play multiplayer - wait for some multiplayer specific patching to occur.
