Was a short but sweet mecha game, very moral-esque, typical of ♥♥♥ games that wants you to think for yourself, make your own decision in a moral dilemma.
Extremely hard "git gud" game, especially if you don't have great intuition regarding upcoming enemies/boss battles and equip ♥♥♥♥ accordingly xD

I just wanna preface this review with the fact that i will keep playing, because it's one hell of a fun game. But i have massive pet peeves that will likely get me to stop playing sooner, rather than later!
And i will retcon my review as these flaws get fixed, if at all.

Pros: Insanely fun, rewarding combat system/gameplay feel and a great story!

Cons:
- Not quite the endgame polish of the two titles it inherited all it's systems from!
- Grindy farm needs to be mitigated, (Player trading or daily "wishlist=guarantee drop" system is needed).
Not all of us are lucky or have unlimited time to spend.. and it makes the game incredibly dull after the story gameplay ends.
- Some game-modes are just plain sleeping pills, when forced to play them tens of times daily to get the things you need, especially the round-based missions where the first loot is rewarded after 15 minutes of just watching bunnies running around. (Shorten the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ amount of rounds per reward, please!)
- Expensive skins/coloring system is atrocious (Make currency cheaper / 50+% discount campaigns.. i think this is just something that is overall self explanatory.)

If heavily modded, yes.
Buggy quests stopped me from 100% so i'm uninstalling, if this was a 5-star review i'd dock one star just for that.

Easily one of the best coop funtimes i've had.
But it's just that, coop funtime.

spooky tokyo adventure with a nice story/substories, 10/10 would get possessed again.

Short but sweet, interesting story and nice message of hope and unity.
The Sci-fi setting was a nice twist to a story type you'd usually see in an action platformer game.

Amazing gameplay, every rig feels unique and well tuned. A bit repetetive gameplay, wish there'd be more mission-types in PVE and also a purely singleplayer experience for storymode, the AI bots are not so bad.
Story-wise it's like an american action movie with a bombastic ending and great cinematics, but it's a slog to queue for several minutes, wait for round to begin and then play 10-20 minutes with non-communicative teammates only to get 1-2% further in the story.

Overall, if you have a week empty and you already own the game, play it for the story at least once!
If they add more variety, i might go back to play some just for the gameplay loop, it was hella fun shooting dinos ;)

Great fun in co-op PVE, i hope they keep on developing this more! This is exactly what i hoped that hawken would end up being when i first laid eyes on it 2012 in Gamescom, Germany!

Pocketmonsters and guns, in ARK style survival game with lore? yeah, play it!

It is very buggy, very barren, very meh/bleh/eh..
Trying to navigate the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ coding to play on a private server is more work than fun.
