Finally decided to play it after having bought it at release, campaign is great and I didn't feel bored at any point throughout.

The story _IS_ a little easy to guess tho.
As for the combat, if you liked the first Spider Man, you'll like this one as well.

It's not as good as the new Guardians of the Galaxy, but it both looks and plays amazingly - both on a powerful desktop rig, and on the SteamDeck.

Story is solid, characters are great, and NYC is expansive and interesting enough - even tho most of the time is spent swinging through the concrete jungle.

It has great humor, memorable characters, some choice, and doesn't feel like it's on a set of rails.
Honestly the best and most fun singleplayer campaign i've played all year!

I remember playing this as a kid, and playing it now is almost like being transported back to that time.

In essence, it's an amazing game, with a pretty cool (albeit short) campaign, seen from both sides of the fence.
Definitely worthy of a playthrough!
