Saw CJU post a video of this with "Incredible Indie Horror Game" and usually when he says that you know it's going to be good and yeah this was.
I liked the premise, there were some good spooks, a really foreboding atmosphere at times and the sound was great too.
The game is on the shorter side like the store page says but I really enjoyed it, some creative ideas well executed.
I do wish a bit more had been done with the phone, maybe you could have solved some puzzles on it rather than just using the camera or something but I'm nitpicking.

Floor 9 is an anomaly hunting game, basically spot the difference. From a gameplay and technical perspective it's fine, you walk up and down a corridor looking for anything out of place, if there is you hit one button, if there isn't you hit the other, rinse and repeat until you reach the ground floor, standard anomaly hunting game fare and it ran fine.

The problem is the stunning lack of creativity with any of the anomalies, there's nothing interesting or memorable. They don't all need to be super obvious jumpscares or anything but it's all things you could do in minutes, resize this asset, place a decal on this door, add a doll model here.

I'm actually kind of annoyed at how lazy this is and I don't like calling developers lazy but that's what this is.
I picked this up in a bundle and even at £1.33 or whatever I feel ripped off, definitely not worth £3.39 when for just one pound more you could get any of The Ten Bells, Office After Hours or Who's at the Door? and have a far better experience.

The game is far from perfect but for a solo dev it's solid enough and especially if it's on sale I'd say give it a go.
It's a fairly simple horror shooter, the enemy AI is incredibly basic and the voice acting is pretty poor but the actual shooting, which is what 90% of the game will have you doing, is fun and feels good.
The weapons could maybe have a little more punch to them, enemies don't react to being hit for example, but it's a minor thing.

The game is way too easy on the default Easy difficulty but I found the second boss overly frustrating on Medium. I'd suggest playing on Medium or Hard and then bumping it down for the bosses, they're mostly just bullet sponges although a couple of them do have some interesting ideas even if the execution isn't quite there.

There are a few collectables to find and a New Game+ and Survival mode coming at some point in the future.
I might give the game another go when those are added.

The only real issues I came across are it's possible for enemies to block you in place, which is fine for normal zombies who go down quickly, not so much if a boss does it. Also the game has rebindable controls but they don't appear to save, if you load up the game again they'll revert to their defaults.
The game is only a couple of hours long so shouldn't take too many sessions to beat so it's more of a mild annoyance than anything else really.

Been following this game for a wee while and the demo shows a lot of promise. The guns are fun to shoot and I love the way enemies react to being hit, it feels very dynamic. The enemy AI is fairly simple with limited sight and hearing ranges. Unsure if it's a demo thing, an early game thing or both but it's definitely very easy.

Played through the first mission a few times, first trying to be stealthy, second going for a guns blazing approach and third just messing about basically, Melee weapons are fun but can be a bit awkward although throwing a hammer and taking someone's head clean off will never get old.

I like the style, could maybe lean into the VHS thing a bit more but that can become overbearing if taken too far so it's a fine line to balance. No issues from a technical standpoint, ran fine, no bugs or other issues like that.

Looking forward to the full game for sure

A neat wee hour game with a nice mix of ideas, it's almost like a grab bag of different horror games rolled into one. Some stuff feels a little under baked, like the submarine maintenance and the fuel but that's a minor nitpick.
I did find the final area a little disappointing thoughit felt like it was leading up to something and then the game just ends. I'm fine with the ending but for the last level it wasn't scary unfortunately.

The game took me about 90 minutes but I might play it again as there's some stuff I missed.
I think it's maybe a tad pricey but overall I really enjoyed it.

This is a tough one as it does a lot of things I don't really like and I found myself finishing it just to knock it off the list ya know?

It's basically Fetch Quest: The Game, the environment is kind of interesting though I feel more could have been done with the underwater base setting. There was the odd creepy moment but the horror elements were mostly laughable, I'm not a fan of literally spawning something in your face that then despawns a second later, it's the epitome of a jumpscare and completely unearned.
The story was all right, voice acting was okay, graphics are fine.
Never quite figured out how the enemy(ies?) in the game worked, you could go large periods of time without seeing or hearing it and then sometimes it'd be clanking up and down a hallway nearby so you just hide until it goes away again.
There were a couple of chase sequences but they didn't really do much for me either.

I dunno, this is one of those where I wish Steam had a Maybe option. I didn't really enjoy my time with it but I can see how others might, it's not a bad game in any way really, beyond the cheap jumpscares.

Short (about 45-60 minutes) but fun wee horror game with a slight twist on the camera mechanic that shows up in a lot of horror games. Not overly scary but a creepy atmosphere, solid sound design and some unexpected turns.
Not much replay value beyond some collectables and alternate endings but I enjoyed my time with it for the price.

It's pretty neat, I loved the atmosphere, great music, solid voice acting and the way the story slowly unfolds was good.
The gameplay is fairly basic, block pushing and some platforming for the most part, it's fine and does its job.
The game is very short, as the store page says, and whilst there are some hidden things to find it still won't take more than a couple of hours if that.
Overall though yeah I'd recommend this for people looking for a short slice of underwater horror.

Gosh what a wonderful wee game this is. Absolutely gorgeous pixel art with some delightful animation, beautiful music, fun gameplay and it's completely free, unbelievable.

Super charming and fun, reminiscent of things like The Case of the Golden Idol, good writing and voice acting and some neat puzzles to solve. It is on the shorter side but I think it's appropriately priced. Would love to see more Eugene McQuacklin in the future.
