What a fantastic addition to the series. The new monsters are awesome and I am having an absolute blast with it.

Such a great follow up from the first one! Apart from some minor stuttering issues, the game runs really well for me, and I don't have the most amazing specs. A lot of people are complaining about the first area which I have to agree is where I had most of my stuttering issues, but since then it's been pretty smooth sailing.

This game throws me back to the old Fable days of RPGs. Yes the combat is not revolutionary but it doesn't need to be. It does enough to keep combat interesting and fun, if not a bit repetitive. The story and visuals are great, it's a slow burn and doesn't require you to read 300 books of additional lore to get an understanding of what is happening. It is a chilled out game that takes it easy, allowing you to enjoy it, rather than smashing through it from start to finish. If you are someone who enjoyed the old Fable games, then you will enjoy it's childlike charm. If you are looking for a story to be hand fed to you quickly so you can finish the game in 5 hours, then this isn't for you.

I do see where people are coming from in regards to the negative reviews but this is a developer that never over-hyped their game or made promises that they didn't uphold. The game is exactly as it was described, a labour of love that comes across beautifully if you take the time to just absorb everything that is going on.

I had to go to the doctor and I am now going to be put into a medical journal as they have never seen a sphincter tighten so much before.

As a big fan of FTL, I knew I would love this game. Great art style and the mechanics are straight foward. There is definitely a lot of room for improvement but still worth picking up, especially if you are a fan of FTL or not.
