SUPER FUN TIMES WITH FRIENDS!!!!!!

I was giggling and screaming with friends! If you like Typing of the Dead and/or Resident Evil, you need this game! The game design is fun, smart, funny, and cute!

I loved Fallout 3 and New Vegas. Those games are very lovely and fun. Fallout 3 was one of the first games I did 100% of the missions and achievements for on Xbox 360. Fallout 4 polishes some aspects of 3/NV but falls behind in some of the categories that made 3/NV fun. Fallout 4 feels empty and repetitive at some points. The new junk + settlement system is fun and I love the gameplay loop of collecting junk and bringing it to my base. I am saddened about weapon condition not being a thing anymore (your weapons degraded and broke in 3/NV). It made things feel more "realistic" because I feel like all of my equipment would be crappy and breaking if I found myself in a post-apocalyptic world. Anyway, the missions and locations are still fun here. Some of it is a little predictable if you've played Fallout before. Far Harbor is a fun expansion to explore as well. Reminds me of Fallout 3: Point Lookout in some ways. This game is a lot prettier than 3 and NV. The companions are very lovely. I like hanging out with Piper, Nick Valentine, and John Hancock. The Brotherhood of Steel is seen more as a gray-area faction that they seemed in Fallout 3. I'm not sure if that is my perception changing or if that was on-purpose. This game is fun if you just want something non-serious to walk around and explore with. It's a good way to just relax and escape for a bit.

If you like any of the following, you'll like this!

-Dark Souls 1 and 2
-Swords / Magic / Cool bad guys
-Mystery
-Boss battles
-Exploration
-RPG mechanics and leveling up
-Real time combat systems

Otherwise, maybe start with another game or test out Dark Souls 1.

I played this game to death on the Xbox 360 but it was so slow and laggy on the console. Load times were unbearable and bugs were impossible to avoid unless you loaded a saved game from hours before...

I expected this kind of thing, especially after Fallout 3 on Xbox360.

I bought FO:NV with all the DLC in the recent Steam summer sale and OH MY GOSH! The PC version is so much better. It took some work getting it to work perfectly on my desktop but it was totally worth it. The framerate is amazing and the load times are so much faster. Adding mods made it more fun too.

If you've never played Fallout 3 or New Vegas, I highly recommend it. The stories are dark and riddled with humor. Walking around the massive world and just exploring and surviving is a huge thrill. Finding a secret stash of items or figuring out a puzzle is very rewarding. There is so much content, you'd probably never find it all unless you spent 150-200+ hours going through every room and story arch.

10/10 buy it!!!
