I like watching numbers grow so much, I'm replaying this game for the third time.

Seriously - this is the deepest incremental game I played in terms of pure numbers. There is no theme, no pictures, almost no flavor text, it hooks with pure numbers and mechanics. There are several mechanic shifts, and some mechanics require you to play this game actively and solve "puzzles" (like certain challenges).
Later mechanics unlock certain strategies where you have to experiment (or look up solutions), but the cost of failure is real time.
The balance is extremely good - you always have just enough resources to be a step away from "the next big thing".
