I couldn't get into POE1 ( the game was way too complicated for me to jump in years after it's release)
POE2 is everything I've ever wanted in an ARPG
- The story it well told and amazingly voiced
- The action is brutal and rewarding
- The game is well optimized ( for the most part ) and runs smoothly despite the crazy amount of particles
I'm still in Act 3 and haven't gotten to endgame yet but so far it was worth every penny.

100% WOULD RECOMMEND !!!!

If you are looking for a viking open world to live in then this game is for you.
Its definitely long and sometimes repetitive. However you are free to tackle all the activities at you own pace.
Dont feel obligated to rush through the story cause you are gonna miss the point.

Live in this Viking world for a while and have some fun !

I have no prior experience with D&D and that did not keep me from absolutely loving this game.
I haven't felt this way about a game since the Witcher 3.

It's hard to explain how they managed to take this new IP and make it an instant classic.

The story is actually pretty good. Starts a bit slow but evolves into pure JRPG madness.
Combat is also addictive with the ONE criticism I have is that is takes a long time before you unlock all the combat mechanics that make the gameplay so much fun to play, however once you get there its extremely fun and rewarding.

Give it a chance. Go in with open mind an I promise you won't be disappointed.

After 250 hours I finished my first playthrough of the main game and all its DLC on Death March. I have played hundreds of games over the years and until now I considered Red Dead Redemption the best game ever made but The Witcher 3 is a completely different beast. Do yourself a favor and play this game. It doesnt matter if you have played the previous games or if you are a fan of the RPGs. It is an experience that no review or YouTube video can recreate. If you like the main game, consider supporting CD Projekt Red by getting the season pass. Developers like that are rare and deserve to be commented.
