A solid couple hours of puzzling, some solutions will stare you in the face and you'll still miss them which imo makes reaching the end of the level more satisfying, game also rewards completionists if that's your kind of thing, high recommend.

So far I've played the tutorial and a standard game and the experience has been incredibly solid, it feels like a mix of Age Of Mythology and a Hands off colony sim, with the choices you make in the world being the driving force of how your empire progresses, and so far it's pretty fun..

Although there were a few issues I noticed in my limited playtime;

- The tutorial asks you to collect enough wood to build a certain item, but there's no indication of how much you've collected, how much is needed for the item, and how much each resource gives!

- Setting a commandment for my warriors to attack enemies seemed to have no effect, which obviously isn't very helpful when the enemy foxes are steamrolling their way to victory

- Audio sliders didn't really seem to have any effect, zooming in on a unit chopping a tree for example is deafening.

- Having to wait to timeout of placing an item, seems like a design decision but it's just frustrating

Don't let the above issues hold you back from trying the game, it's a cohesive experience and feels like a refreshing take on the colony / empire genre, and once they're solved, it'll be an even smoother experience. Not to mention the art style, it's cohesive and makes you feel like you're found a hidden 90s gem 🤠 TRY IT (do the tutorial first)

Cute artstyle, starts off with some easy puzzles to get you into the swing of things, then ramps up the difficulty with timing based that require a quick hit of R to reset, if you like puzzle games OR platformers (I'm only really a fan of the former) then this is definitely worth an hour or two of your time (:

Pixi is a feature rich pixel editor that coming from photoshop or similar software, you'll feel at home within seconds, and for the price of FREE, you'd be a fool to not download it and give it a try.

Art style is so satisfying and the entire thing seems very well put together, especially for a game jam game, could use a couple improvements like when trying to unequip the hairdryer, would recommend
