They had me at the villagers creating their own paths.

Honestly, The lack of micromanagement in this game is so great. My villagers knowing what they need to do after assigning tasks is such a great feature. It's like the "Shoot them you idiots" paradigm of Evil Genius. making high level decisions is what I expect from a Medieval city builder. This game has some incredible promise, and the mod manager in the game is a huge selling point as well.

I'd like to see some kind of combat mechanic, or a wide map command screen a la Rimworld. Creating a world we can be immersed in would be huge for this game. And then on top of that, allowing empire building, Where we can expand past one single village and connect multiple, and challenge the king.

Great Game. Pick it up in EA and watch this bad boy grow.

This game left me weeping at 2AM after spending 6 hours on it and reaching the end.

because I could not put it down, I spent the 6 hours up until the end of the story becoming emotionally invested in the characters, the decisions I made, and the impact of my actions. What some reviewers say in that "the consequences fall flat" simply is not true, because along this story, you get attached to the King and his family. You feel the pride that he feels in his daughters. You feel the pain he endures. You feel the weight of being a king trying to please everyone and failing at doing so. Everything that happens in this story, carries similar to game of thrones.

This game is a masterclass on the FEELING of player agency. Pick it up if your an Empath, or love a good story.

TLDR
Better than any movie you'll watch while in quarantine. and you're in control!

Too many salty idiots in these Reviews that dont know how a game is made/ran.
Pubg Corp. is trying their darndness to fix the spaghetti code that was used to creat the game. unfortunately, Epic Games owns the Engine the game was built upon, and is withholding the most recent version (That best supports large maps) so that they can strangle them.

There are people in these Reviews that cite the games collision physics still being Wonky.
A) Unreal Engine
B) Old Version of Unreal Engine

Another group of people have cited that Pubg Corp. Only care about skins, and making Pubg Mobile.
these people are the worst offenders of bad misinformation. The skins are made by an art department, and trust me, its much easier to crank those out than to fix the base code of the game. You cant complain about skins because its different people.
Secondly, Pubg Corp. Doesnt even make Pubg Mobile. Tencent Studios in China Licensed and made it.

Others say that Pubg is slowing development. And to that, I call those people idiots too. They have steadily released real new content to the people every month. I say that is plenty for me, especially when the content is so good.

I love this game, and I want to see success from it. It has real problems, and those need to be addressed, but so does every game, including the scurge of fortnite. I think this game has some serious potential, and if the hate campaigns stopped, I think we would all be able to see that.
