I can't NOT recommend it, but it's not great. TTK is too low, and game is very hard solo. And if you fill, you can get randoms that join with no gear, or are using an Uzi with grey ammo.

One of my all time favourite games. Played it on Game Pass but wanted it for my steam deck so bought on sale. Masterpiece

Very similar to Valheim imo, but very very good. Really solid game so far.

This game has 2 things that I hate the absolute most about PC gaming.

1. Locked frame rates. Most disgusting thing in PC gaming. Game is locked to 60 fps. No mods or anything to unlock it. Fromsoft also does this, but there are mods to unlock the frame rate at least.

2. Awful PC porting with awful m&k controls. This game is made for controller, and is actually unplayable on mouse and keyboard. The dodge mechanic of double tapping WASD is unusable.

That being said, the game is okay but not really for me. Didn't make it too far in and was expecting a lot more from people that praised this game. Glad I got it on sale.

Awful

Every small world enemy 2 shots me, bosses do 65% HP per hit 2 shotting me during a 17 hit combo, I do 200 dmg per hit, no time to heal, everything is perma aggro, have to use summons or bosses are unbeatable, then using a summon feels like cheesing, still have to use mods to unlock FPS, camera lock on is trash, golden hippo exists, confusing new stat system, do I need levels, do I need more scadutree frags, am I bad, base game is 20x better.

Not my game genre at all. Still having tons of fun regardless. Some things I find pretty confusing, like why resources are not being transferred to buildings under construction for months and months even though I have an unassigned family. And I also had a new village in a new region completely die because they would not transfer the 300+ firewood from the storehouse into their houses. And yes I had a family assigned to the storehouse. Not sure if that was a bug or not. So now I just have a completely empty town with no one in it. Need the ability to move residents from one region to another.

Still, I can't wait for future content, hopefully bigger maps, more buildings, etc.

Game is good. Has an insane amount of potential that I hope becomes realized. There is really an infinite amount of possible enemy types, planets, weapons, and strategems. Making comparisons to Tarkov, I think planets could have much more possible loot/resources that are used to upgrade even more stuff. Make our ships more useful, like a hideout that we can customize and decorate. When I first got the game and we could name our ship, I was expecting a lot of ship customization, but there is literally zero. Really wish we could change the colours of things too, like our guns and armour. Again, tons of potential and possible content that I hope will be added one day.

Great game. The proximity audio is fantastic and is actually incredibly immersive. The idea is here, and works very well. Just needs some more content and maybe different styled dungeons. But for a $13 game it is worth.
