Cassette Beasts is an open-world, turn-based RPG about collecting monster forms using, you guessed it; cassette tapes.
The game has an amazing soundtrack (the vocals are so captivating!) and a beautiful open world made with mixed media graphics. The plot is very intriguing and full of valuable themes. With adjustable difficulty, endless customization, and a variety of strategies, anyone can access the game.

While the game was made with single player in mind, it has local Co-Op! After the tutorial, you can invite a friend (either by plugging in another controller or via Remote Play!) to play as the companion character.
Online multiplayer is very fun! I've met a lot of great people from this game.

The game includes a colorblind mode and other features to help anyone who wishes to play the game but struggles with disabilities. Some areas in the game may affect those with epilepsy. If you have had experience with seizures, I recommend you turn off Glitch Effects and Screen Shake to reduce the risk.

I love this game so much. It has helped me feel better about myself and get through burnout. The community is great too! Cassette Beasts is definitely one of my top 3 favorite games.
