What you see is exactly what you get! A charming N64-era inspired platformer! It hits all the right marks which completely caught me by surprise! I've just scraped the surface though. There's much more platforming and collecting to do!

It's a challenging and rewarding experience. One that I'll be revisiting for sure!

It's straight forward, simple, yet eerily cryptic. It's well polished and feels deceptively simple, like it's layered with lore. How deep is it? I have yet to find out, but the subtle changes between sessions make it replayable. As other's mentioned, it's a similar experience to Resident Evil 7's 21 mini-game and I love it for that.

Perhaps a bad take, but I really don't enjoy this entry in the series. Co-op is the only way to play this title and have any crumb of enjoyment. It really can be a blast playing with a friend! I've played my fair share on the 360 and GFWL releases and had my fun back in the day, but after returning years later to experience it again and finally experience the DLC I am sadly disappointed.
Lost in Nightmares is merely nostalgia bait and offers nothing meaningful or new to the overall experience.
Desperate Escape was straight action through the entire 30 - 60 minutes of gameplay. I really took my time with this one and surprisingly enjoyed it a bit. It was nice of them to give Josh more screen time, even if the whole experience was completely unnecessary. It may not have added anything meaningful or new to the table either but it at least a bit of fun.

All-in-all, the DLC is pointless but at least it's more Resident Evil.

For a port of a 3DS title it's a fairly solid entry in the RE series.
If you're a Resident Evil fan who has overlooked this entry like myself I'd recommend giving it another shot.
I went in with low expectations and was quite surprised with how much there had been. Simple campy fun.

Early Access Review
An excellent cooperative horror themed loot extraction simulator. Possibly the best!

An intensely suspenseful modern day blast to the past. It really feels like a horror game you'd have experienced on the PlayStation One all those years ago. It felt like an amalgamation of games like Nightmare Creatures, Silent Hill, Kings Field, Shadowgate 64, Onimusha, and so on. A nostalgia triggering experience.

The graphics are dark and gritty. The gore is visceral. The sound design is unsettling. The soundtrack ranges from tracks that are completely intense and outrageous to somber relaxation. Things are simple yet cryptic. The world is open but linear. I really enjoyed my time with this game. I already want more!

Great aesthetic and atmosphere, the sound and gameplay is on point, progression can be tricky but help is available if you decide to take advantage of it. This game hits so many of the right notes. For an indie team they'd done a fantastic job! I look forward to more!
For any old school survival horror fans, this is a must try!

Addictive! The Castlevania content only made it better. I will eventually do a more thorough review, but this is an immediate recommendation for anyone looking to kill time.
