IMO this game is way better than the first 2 for the casual player. This one actually works very well with a controller.

Forces you to use left and right bumpers to shift with manual transmission and xbox controller. I have played racing games my entire life and this is literally the first time I have ever run into it. Leave it to EA to mess up something so simple. I requested a refund.
