It's simple but absolutely effective when it comes to sprite making, particularly for animated sprites, as you can export your animation as a .gif or as a sprite sheet. As an aspiring game dev, the latter is used fairly often. It also has layers and various selection modes. I haven't fiddled with any add-ons, but that's only because what is offered in the base app is what works for me.

So, After the port of the first game, NISA has gone on to port the 2nd game. While this port does not have the performance issues the first did (so far), there aren't that many visual enhancements to the game. The game looks mostly the same as it did on the PS2/PSP, save for higher render resolution and the UI.

So a bit of some history: the PSP version was a mess. the DLC characters in that game had messed up sound effects, a few of their skills healed when they looked like they should damage, they were level 100 characters that you could get right at the begining, and 3 didn't even make it outside of Japan. All those issues are fixed, though only Almaz and Sapphire have english VOs. Also, they start at level 2, Buuut, they forgot to change their map bonuses, so you'll still be getting a few mid rank items early.

That's about it for the major differences. This game is a LOT easier to play than the 1st due to the ability to skip cutscenes, speed up dialoge, actions, and movement, and even skip attack animations on you or your enemies' turn. The usual Disgaea extras are there in full force: Alternate Endings, a side story, LOTS of cameo bosses, Item world, Dark World, Land of Carnage, Cave of grinding Ordeals, and of course, everyone's favorite NISverse Extra Boss, Baal.

If you want a time sink, then Christmas has come early, on the back of a Prinny God with 3 Accelerators.

Warframe... Where do I even begin...

The basic concept is a bit cobbled together, as you are essentially a space ninja with guns, swords, and all manners of weapons in-between in a sci-fi world, with mobility and control that I've never seen in other 3rd person shooters. At it's peak, it can be a fight for survival against an invader, or a power fantasy, and you will ALWAYS be on the move, and looking for ways to navigate the environment faster or more efficiently.

I have had the pleasure of following this game for 3 years now, and I can tell you that if you looked at this game now, and came back 6 months later, some drastic change will have been made, likely for the better. This game is constantly evolving, with new weapons or Warframes to use or master or mechanics being changed or added. There is an update of some kind almost every week, be it for new weapons/Warframes, Cosmetics, Events, or just bugfixes.

Another shining spot on this game is it's community. This is not a community like your Dota's or your CSes, as (With maybe the exception of region chat) the community is more than willing to help you out in missions, and give info if needed. Some of the devs or mods often stop by the relay and chat, as well. You can also build or join a clan and have a massive dojo that can be customised!

I could go on for hours talking about this game, but the main thing you should come away with is that you really should play this game. For veterans, it's still got challenges like Sorties, and for new players, there's many options that you can take, be it collecting parts to powerful Warframes and weapons, taking part in quests, or just clearing the starchart. Find the suit that fits you best in Warframe (In my case, Rhino), and enjoy!
