This game has some nice ideas but in the end I refunded it because it feels unfinished despite the 1.0 patch at the time. The UI looks like it was designed for mobile or tablet users. The icons are unclear so I had a hard time finding the information i needed at any time, and a bit of clutter worsens that issue. Ugly as hell fonts and buttons don't help the game either. Also, the default controls are really unintuitive and quite different compared to other city builders, making any previous experience in this genre a burden rather than a benefit when you try to learn this game. After a while, your city can look pretty cool, but getting to that point is a long and frustrating experience. Hopefully it will receive some serious polish in the next couple of years.

It's a fine deck builder for a good price. It's very much inspired by Slay the Spire, so much that it sometimes feels like a clone of that game. However, there are some fun ideas added to the formula, and StS is a great game so more of it is not an issue for me. I did find myself getting a bit bored with it before I had time to fully explore the later classes, but that was only after 15+ hours, and I might come back later to see if fatigue has died down.

tl;dr: very much like StS, a solid deck builder with a few interesting ideas. Certainly worth the 15 euros I paid for it.

Currently, the mixed review status is mostly due to connection issues during launch week. I waited a week with my review to see whether they could fix these. Currently, all is fine on EU servers, even during peak times. More importantly, the devs have been amazing in their communication on Discord, Reddit and other socials. Great communication didn't fix truly annoying connection issues, but it sure made them more palatable.

So, about the game itself. For me the 30 euro price tag was a great start. I never really got into PoE or Diablo, partly because of the 60 euro price tag. These types of games need a few hours to really grasp, so a refund period trial didn't seem realistic to me. If you always wanted to try an ARPG, try this one. It's accessible and fun for new players. The combat is intuitive, skill trees manageable and the crafting system is easy. All together, it makes for a game that is easy to get into but still has room for complex builds in the late game. The world is beautiful and interesting and the story is decent. As I said, I'm a new player to the genre so I can specifically recommend this game to other new players. If you are an experienced ARPG player you might want to read other review on how this compares to other games like it. However, I can't imagine this game not being worth 30 euros for fans of the genre.

Get Warhammer II if you are looking for a great experience for a great price. For the third installment, prices have skyrocketed whilst the content per DLC has been drastically reduced. Also, major bugs are left untreated. It's clear that this is the final installment of the trilogy - people have paid for 3 games and now the developers are trying to squeeze players until the end of TWW3's lifecycle. So, if you don't have this game yet I'll say it once again:
Get Warhammer II! It's 99% of this game for a fraction of the cost, even including all the DLC. You can even get the first game for a penny nowadays, and it's DLC also applies for newer games. In a few years time, you can probably get this game and all it's DLC for a somewhat reasonable price. Don't reward the developers for what they are doing with Warhammer 3.

Buggy as all PCM games, still enjoyable for cycling fans. Mods and database updates make the game playable.

Great and unique game, feel the need to recommend this, even though Audiosurf 2 is out now.
The mechanics are great, take any piece of music and race, puzzle or just bounce around on a track finetuned to your song. If you want a music game that is fun and special, instead of the billion reaction time Guitar Hero clones, the only better option than Audiosurf would be it's sequel.

Nasty but oddly enjoyable partygame.
Don't expect anything grand, just a silly, stupid, simple game that will give you a couple of laughs about pickles for penises and mounting innuendo.
Makes the player strangely competitive whilst controlling nearly naked man climb each other

Just a classic, it's in my opinion the best Worms experience. All the solid mechanics and silly weapons of the series are there, with the great addition of water physics.
You know what to do, get a couple of friends and
Baaaaah!
Hallelujaaaah!
Hee Haw!
Pow!

In my opinion the best of the Total War series. Especially the interaction with the pope makes you think a bit more about every move you make. For me, the best part is the historical fantasies you can enjoy, in small things like conquering the British Isles with Scotland (Bloody Englishmen!) or on larger scales, like creating the resurgence of the dying Byzantine Empire.
The AI is not perfect, especially in the real time battles, and the influences of popes, imams, crusades and jihads does leave the orthodox with a less interesting experience. Orthodox popes did exist at that time, so it seems like a missed opportunity.
Overall though, many issues can be solved through the great modding scene. In the end, this is just one of those games you want to play for a quick ten turns, only to end up 5 hours and 120 turns later, reigning over the half of Europe and in battle with the other half.

Nice idea, but the game gets repetitive very quickly. Also, I can stand games that aren't too impressive in terms of graphics, but the menu's all seem 90% finished. Actually, that's the whole story of the game, a small amount of extra detail and features would make this a nice little game that could give you a couple of hours of fun - now I just lost interest after a couple of races.
