TRTS is a Bite sized ARPG roguelike that has an eye catching art style, very fair price, and enough content to at least give you a good few hours of enjoyment.

Overall, a cheap but enjoyable roguelike. Honestly the art style and price were the main draws for me. I feel pretty happy with what this is for the price.

I won on my first character, and I was pretty happy with the build I managed to pull off. The art style, skills, and progression generally felt great. I was excited for loot, I could feel myself getting stronger, and visually I started to feel more impactful as well. As ARPGs are my favorite genre, I definitely enjoy the general loop of progression this game offers.

It's nothing ground breaking, but for the price I can't really complain.

I do want to offer some feedback as well.

-I don't understand the need for a hunger system. It's easy to resolve, you do not even need to cook the meat. You just rawdog it and are good to go. It just adds slight resource management for no tangible upside.

-Dungeon layouts ARE samey-- they also have a LOT of dead ends..and you need to search for levers. It's like the most unfun path of exile layouts. :D No variety is kind of a bummer. I'd like to see themed dungeon layouts in each area at least, even if its just visual. Dungeons also having at least an occasional boss fight would be great. It's a roguelike, variety goes a long way as I do not want to run the same exact feeling layout 15~ times a run.

-I don't think the random events are...very exciting? Random mobs in the first zone swarming you is cool. The sandstorm and earthquakes that mess with movement? Unfun and just kind of annoying? I'm like "oh its happening i guess", lol. Losing control without my input is NOT fun.

-no autoattack. Honestly yeah, this needs to be added.

-Not necessarilly a full gripe, but the ability to autocast skills (maybe by right clicking them on the bar) would be awesome! Especially since my first char was a mage with huge cooldown reduction. It felt like I was playing the flask piano in path of exile

-Comparison view between two items would be FIRE.

Overall this game is a solid 6.5-7/10 for me. It's a solid base, but if the dev does want to expand on this then I feel like some of the above mentioned need to be changed. I think this game could easily become something

small sidenote: small bug - if you have cd reduction, perks dont notice if the cooldown changed. eg. life on spell cast over 5 sec cd, but my magic missile is a 4 sec cd. technically this is bugged in my favor, but i imagine there may be some way this would be bad

Fantasy Luck Be a Landlord mixed with autochess.

It's a really fun and enjoyable roguelike, and anyone who likes Luck Be a Landlord will definitely enjoy this.
There are 3 classes, and they all play pretty differently.

I will admit, the translations in the game are a bit rough at time -- but overall everything has made sense except for a few tooltips.

I am very much a lover of fishing in games.

This game satisfies that itch perfectly.
While graphically the game is very simple -- this imo works well for it. It's a fishing simulation game first and foremost. There's an indepth lure system, procedural generated lakes, handcrafted lakes, and tons of different fish.

I played around 5 hours today, and man -- this game rules.

This games been sitting on my wishlist for a long time -- and I'm glad I finally decided to pick it up.

I do think the game could use a demo on the store page as imo the first hour or so was enough to sell me -- and I wish I could have experienced it sooner. It's a perfect chill + watch something on a second monitor game.

Early Access Review
A great game for fans of poe 1 or people who never played it and are wanting a good ARPG.

A heavily slowed down but massively improved upon sequel to the first game.

My main grip with poe 1? The leveling zones were boring. All of them were 'go from a to b' trying to blast through it as fast as possible. POE 2 fixes this. Boss fights are EXCITING. You can dodge roll, you can attack while moving, you can't just faceplant into a boss over and over until it dies. The areas have optional bosses, worthwhile loot, and visually have a lot of different stuff to explore. Most areas have an entirely unique look and various unique enemies and enemy types.

Ascending, a hassle in poe 1, is a lot more enjoyable as well. It feels like I'm actually playing POE when I'm working on ascending my character, and not a 'avoid a bunch of traps and be bored' simulator like the Lab from poe 1 was.

The music as always is stellar.

The visuals are heavily improved on, to the polish levels of diablo 3 and 4 in terms of animation quality. IMO diablo 3 was the best feeling ARPG in terms of how it 'felt' (not mechanically). POE 2 is now the king of that. The game feels fluid. I can attack/cast while moving. I can dodge roll to avoid attacks. Each skills feels GREAT to use, both on a visual and mechanical level.

Also, poe 2 no longer has messing with gem links, slots, and colors. You just use things. Have fun!

It's worth getting the early access, and I'm excited to get to end game :)

Great game. If you like Balatro, Monster Train, or Slay the Spire, this game WILL be your cup of tea.

They just added achievements, so my only flaw with this game remaining is lack of controller support.

It's essentially a roguelike dice rolling game where you get different heroes with different faces of the die. There are items that enhance these characters, allowing some nifty combinations and effects.

The game is challenging but fair and the runs don't overstay their welcome so it ends up being a pretty big 'one more run' kind of game.

Ah, Castlevania.

The first game series I fell in love with as a kid. My dad had a gameboy advance and LOVED Aria of Sorrow. For my birthday he got me harmony of dissonance. We ended up getting a Wii and a DS and I continued to love the series. I played all the older Castlevanias and beat all the new ones as they came out on the DS.

I recently replayed all those games due to the majority being on Steam now.

This DLC is FANTASTIC. I just did a few runs and WOW it is making me so happy. So many deep cut enemies, characters, bosses, etc. It's a true work of passion.

The level itself is MASSIVE. I'm still exploring it but I had to drop a quick review. One of my favorite things is the level of detail. For example, the Portrait of Ruin portraits are in the Castle just fitting perfectly in the background as a prop.

I'm a bit disappointed no new steam achievements for this DLC, but that's the only complaint I have. There are tons of ingame achievements.
If you like vampire survivors or Castlevania (or preferably both) this DLC is worth the measly price of 4 bucks.

A semi-idle game that is made to be enjoyable, chill, and not overstay its welcome.

The art style is simple but effective, the gameplay is great and fluid and you always feel like you're progressing, and the overall experience from start to finish is engaging enough to make you not need to idle or even worry about automation too much.

It took me around 22 hours to beat it, and I never really bothered building a base. I'm sure if I spent time building a base I could have easily spent a few extra hours -- but I ended up just kind of island hopping for a few hours then sticking to one island and just being out in the open.

My favorite thing this game does is NOT have combat. You do kill passive mobs, but theres no actual combat or fighting. I know some people would be disappointed in that, but for a semi-idle game I much prefer this. My least favorite part of Forager WAS the combat. So the fact this game avoided that pitfall at all makes me happy.

I have one last achievement (which is basically just idle) so I feel like I'd go ahead and drop a review. For achievement hunters, its a pretty easy but enjoyable 100%.

If you want a great game to chill while multitasking, this game is definitely worth a pickup -- especially on sale! It's easily 20+ hours.

I like Brotato. I never played it very in depth but I had enough fun with it that I wanted to buy the DLC to support the dev.

Why is the DLC so much harder than the base game? A bit of an increase is great, but the amount of bullet and enemy spawn far outnumbers anything in the base game. Yeah, an enemy with a cool attack pattern is great. However, when I'm also dealing with a giant never-ending horde on top of it I'm not sure how I'm expected to win on the higher difficulties? It may also be that I keep trying with the dlc potatoes.

Oh yeah. There are also enemies who explode into bullets on death. I love on-death mechanics in ARPGS.

Curse is interesting and some of the potatoes have some cool mechanics. I like the new items.

Overall, I'd wait for this to get a patch. Yes, I'm aware I can tone it down with the accessibility options or retry a wave over and over. That's a great feature. However, I'd say it overall just needs toning down. The base game I had no issues of frustration with.

It is worth noting I only played it on Deck. I'm going to play around with it on mouse+keyboard just to make sure it's not an input thing.

I'd like to think I enjoy difficult games but this DLC is very much past my line of comfort.

This DLC is definitely the middle of the pack. It's fun and enjoyable, but is a bit on the short side due to it having 3 vehicle levels.

Definitely worth getting this one on sale, just don't expect more than 3-4 hours of content at most.
