This game seems deceptively deep and harrowing when you get into it. I've only been playing for two hours and I already feel an intense source of adventure from this game. I was sorely tempted to see if I could survive as my first character without dying but I quickly decided against it. Hardcore gameplay is not my thing, if anything I would be severely hurt emotionally if I had lost all of my skill levels that I'd painstakingly worked up to the numerous ways that this game can defeat you.

Fully recommend. The music is by Johnathan Geer and you should buy all his stuff because its all really good.

I got it for dirt cheap and i actually had fun with it, it doesn't punish you for wanting to explore what sort of monsters you can run into. You can fool around by avoiding combat and you can fool around by messing with stronger enemies to experiment. The game offers plenty of freedom this way and, even should you fall, you can always continue on from that point. Death is not the end of your story. You actually progress regardless, in an endless push to see how things go.

Don't give up.

this game has some bugs, so please be aware of that, a lot of people are having trouble with the shop,

some people are getting softlocked

there are issues with the tail flickering and being animated very rapidly instead of swaying smoothly

I bought this game once as a gift and for myself today because I want this game to succeed.

As a simple customer, I'd like to thank both Ambertail and Team17 for creating this wonderful and cathartic videogame.

This game has been awesome so far I just have a couple qualms. One thing I kinda dislike is the anti-climactic ability seed stuff where you can only equip two at a time. Definitely not a game-changer.

I also really dont like the sprawling, mostly-empty-devoid-of-access maps that I can't access til much later in the game when I go and backtrack to try and grab leftover items.

The combat is cool but a little simplified and not nearly as challenging as something like secret of mana where your success is measjured by your time spent leveling up weapon skills. So if you're looking for a challenge, just go play SoM instead and give this 100 dollar game a hard pass for challenge marks.

The art style and the scenery is aight (until it starts flickering and giving you a seizure anyway)

the music is a bit on the sleepy side and you only really get "combat music" enjoyment when you go into the elemental lesser shrine arenas. and even then, the characters TALK SOOOO MUCH that it overwhelms the music anyway.

I recommend this game if you are a little kid and you're totally new to RPGs. (YOU ARE LIKE A LITTLE BABY. WATCH THIS.)

I don't recommend this game to 30+ year olds like me who have played every hard RPG in existence and are looking for a challenge. You will be disappointed with this game if you are searching for challenge.

Survival craft game in victorian super style
base building with snap points and monsters that spawn in a red cloud and attack you with mortar fireball cannon-heads
I've only been playing a handful of hours and I like it

this game is exciting because of the new enemies and bosses that roam the world like elden ring. But its still a survival craft game
Takes a lot of time to get upgrades, and the upgrades feel good, but it does take some effort and the food system is like valheim so your meals only last 15 mins or so

I got blown up because I wasnt expecting the mortar fire
it was fun

the drops on monsters are fantastic by the way, I love getting useful materials for killing them!

I haven't played Warframe in a long time. Can I ever come back to this game and have fun with it, or is it forever going to be a game where I will be perpetually alone in my ship, and not have other people in it because Im a lonely old woman?

why is this game so hard to be interested in soloing and have almost no appeal to me as a casual gamer?
