Game is fun when the performance doesn't tank.
While playing the performance seems to get gradually worse over time and doesn't get better until you restart the game.
I eventually end up with sub 30 fps on a 4070 Ti, RT off and pretty low graphics settings with dlss on.
Terrible... absolutely terrible.
As for micro transactions... i don't get why people whine about it. It's not nessecary to buy those. Tho it is a bit weird that they are stuffed into a single player game.

This game is something special. Not a game for everyone, but special nonetheless.

Why this game is not for everyone:
The game can feel to real. It's so unfiltered and so raw that it can provoke feelings in you that not everyone may be able to handle. Civillians getting caught in the crossfire in this grim, gritty, real ''reality'' etc.
Now i don't want to spoil anything, but you will understand when you play this game yourself.

Other than that, this game is just amazing in my opinion.
Gameplay is top notch.
It makes you think about your actions, makes you strategize because your actions, have consequences. You're there to preserve life after all.
The atmosphere in the game just pulls you in.
Gunplay is good
It's all almost a 10/10.

My biggest problems with the game right now is how the swat ai behaves at times. Throwing flashes in just damn useless directions at times.
Another example is that i had a SWAT member throw a stinger into the wall by a double door, landing at our feet and killing the whole team except for one officer, completely ruining the Ironman run in commander mode, forcing me to start a new game.
This is fixed by just not using stingers, tho a bit annoying. As well as when an officer team flashes all of you.
As well as enemies being able to track you through walls, same with your officers. Sometimes leading to wallbang battles between you, your swat team and the enemies.

Overall score from me: 8/10

I cannot recommend this game in a vanilla state yet.
But when it comes to modding, a lot of the must have's have been released, including road builder coming out very soon.
Modding is essentially what saves this game for me.
You can create very realistic looking cities with realistic road networks.
It's mostly the simulation part where this game has quite a bit of catching up to do.
To me, cargo transport seems to be broken as when i try to export by train, ship or air, nothing get's exported.
The traffic simulation is also a downside for me. Mostly the random lane switching, especially at the very last second cutting across more than 1 lane. Now this is realistic to some extent because there's always that one knobhead in traffic, but in cs2 it seems to be way to frequent.
Resulting in completely ruining the traffic flow under heavy traffic because they block up the lanes that technically is only for traveling a different direction.
An example is when theres an off ramp and most of the traffic is going down that off ramp. Instead of stacking up in the correct lanes they stack up the whole road blocking other traffic from continuing straight on the highway.

There's a lack of big industry buildings that don't have smoke stacks. So if you want less smoke stacks you have to zone very small and add in big offices in the big spaces to pose as those big industry buildings.

Same with other big buildings like residential and offices. The bigger zoned buildings lack variety in my opinion.

I played this a lot when it came out. Was fun when everybody didn't know how to play

I don't know why i found this game so incredibly boring but i wish i only played 2 hours

Do people really expect an MMO to not have queue times on release day? (Yes i was suprised about how big the queues where. But considering the whole world wanted to start early when only EU servers where available, it's not surprising at all)
Anyway... the stuff this game is good at, it's really good at. Like an 8/10 or 9/10. But then you have the bad things wich are real bad. Like absolute trash.
Theres still some annoying bugs but not as annoying as the beta. Will be fixed in time (probably)
And im gonna say the same thing as i said about the beta. The game has potential to be a really great game. But for now it's just average at best. So i think Amazon have to be careful about wich direction they will take the game from here.
Quest are really repetetive and can be really boring at times.
The dungeons are allso not great at all. Not a lot of enemy variety and after a couple times they are not that challenging at all.
But all in all id recommend this game for players that are new to MMO games.
Game is simple and easy to wrap your head around while still having a bit of depth to crafting systems, player controlled nodes etc. And PVP can be really fun. It's a great gateway into the world of MMO's.

I rate this game a solid 6/10
