It's in the bones of man and through the roots of cultures which we see the world through what one might call our familiar lens — a reality true to us and no other. Bounds which share similarities and often nothing more. Yet, in spite of our differences, those tied intrinsically to our being and upbringing, common grounds give birth to understandings that bridge men and build foundations that only the greatest of follies can destroy. In our hesitancy seeped in the fruits of untended anxiety we do many of things that lead us down the paths of ruin. Natural, these outcomes, sometimes, but none other than man can truly reflect upon these cosmic oddities in their peculiarity. As true to the world as the wind fluttering the leaves upon the forest's trees, our incompetence is both expected and required to fulfill the contract of ignorant to wise. If not for such inadequacies we would still, to this day, be without many great things which we now take for granted. Plumbing, electricity, waffles — once a boy attempting the world's fastest pancake, tomorrow a man delivering waffles to this world through strategem then unheard, now not forgotten.

Sakuya Izayoi Gives You Advice And Dabs cements its place in the hall of legends. A game of unprecedented delivery, execution, and purpose. It is here, you who has yet to be persuaded, that you will be informed of much, reminded of many, and comforted for the mistakes, would be's, and should have's that've transpired or not. And then she dabs. 10/10.

NieR:Automata is a must play game for anyone with the computer to handle it or a PS4 and the means to acquire a physical copy of the game.

It is one of the most entertaining, complete packages available to gamers. Offering multiple genres seamlessly tied together, fantastic art, one of the best sound tracks to ever bless a game, an emotional and thought provoking story, and an addictively fun combat system NieR:Automata is simply a game you cannot afford to skip. It's world building, story telling, and directing immaculately invest you into the world of Nier as you're immersed in an ongoing global conflict that will have you questioning what love, hate, and even life is.

If you are planning on playing the game on Steam then note that (as of me writing this review) you will need a patch known as "FAR" (Fix Automata Resolution) which can be found here: https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/groups/SpecialK_Mods/discussions/3/1334600128973500691/

I recommend using the automatic installer. Be sure to run it as Administrator.

I also suggest you play the game with the Japanese Audio. The English cast is fantastic, don't get me wrong, but there are reasons that cannot be explained lest I spoil important plot points that make the Japanese audio superior. If you're unable to handle reading the subtitled dialogue then you're not ruining your experience by playing the game with English dialogue so don't fret. It's just a case of "one is technically better than the other" and that really only applies if you're comfortable with either option to begin with.

Do yourself a favor and buy NieR:Automata. Beat the entire game's main story from start to finish. This means completing A, B, C, D, and E. Don't ask what this means. When you "finish" the game, continue your save file and keep playing. You'll KNOW when you're done.

Do any side quests that you want to. They are fun, silly, awesome, and add a lot to the game in terms of world building.

To paraphrase some random twitter post (I forgot who posted it): If NieR:Automata doesn't go down in history as one of the best games ever created then f*** history.

Go buy NieR:Automata.
