proximity voice and wwii games are always fun. foxhole is cool and youll have a lot of laughs playing it. the problem is eventually you get bored of playing solo on the frontlines and you have to interact with the psychopathic mouthbreather clan community who own everything cool to do in this game. its fun for a bit but not thirty dollars fun. play hell let loose instead, they have a better community overall

the fact that this is the dlc I get free with my deluxe edition pisses me off, this is ridiculous

On the surface the game has been cleaned up and made more visually distinct but under the surface the game is brimming with all kinds of new complexities.

You will have to relearn how to play civ and it is so fun.

This game has mid-game emptiness but the devs have already talked about their patch schedule and bringing more goals to the mid game, they've also promised to deliver a patch soon to make the AI better and fix sectors, this game is only getting better and it was already worth the 40 bucks when I bought it originally. If you want to wait for the patches thats understandable but IMHO I'm having plenty of fun with it as is.

great game if you have the right group of friends to play with

great fun, really fast paced. feels really great when you play really recklessly and score big.

was really novel for the first couple plays, then it got kind of stale.

steam shouldn't be selling this if they can't guarantee that most people can even get it to run.

If you have Windows 7 save yourself the pain and $8 because getting this thing to run on newer windows OS's involves a lot of launch option config & working around the outdated startup with DXwnd

I bought this because I enjoyed stuff like Patrician and Port Royale in the past, it's pretty polished but the problem is the pricing of goods is really wonky and there doesn't seem to be any one route that turns a reasonable profit. Even the cities that supposedly specialize in producing a good usually don't seem to offer a better deal than any random village you could wander into. also there's the whole hill herb thing, usually 120t to buy and can only seem to offload it anywhere for 30t at best, What the hell is that? I went to the barbarian cities to try and find hill herb cheaply and even there it would be ridiculous trying to run a route off of it.

The only break they give you is that the starting city sells food cheaply for like a week and then it dries out and you're stuck wandering through all these cities looking for a single thing that can be traded for a profit.

IMO your money would be better spent on Port Royale 2 or Patrician if you've never played those, really regret buying this because now it just sits unplayed.
