Really solid Beat'em Up that's just complex enough to make juggling a screen full of enemies satisfying but simple enough that you can play local multiplayer with your friends who just press the primary attack button. Though, you might not want to play this game with friends in story mode even if you're all okay with the gritty violence due a lot of pretty heavy content (animal abuse, suicide, drug dependency, verbal abuse, political social commentary). There are a few bugs that i noticed in just the 8 hours that i played to get both endings a really annoying audio bug in one of the arenas where one sound effect is played at max volume regardless of your sound settings and a scripted segment not triggering a few times right before the final checkpoint of the game. The cutscene dialogue directed towards Natasha only half of the time remembers to call her a Romani ♥♥♥♥♥ the other half of the time just copy and pastes the dialogue for the other characters. That said, for a small indie game with only a few people working on it its extremely polished in its art and character design despite its flaws.

More of a interesting, 10 minute showcase of artwork and audio/visual design rather than precision platformer. In other words, a walking simulator with platforming.

This game's humor and art calls back to your days in high school in the late 2000's when you unironically used to use "xD" and never fails to remind me that there's a reason i stopped watching naruto. No random battles and pokemon-style elemental system that factors into every attack and spell makes progessing engaging enough for a free rpg. Gold drop and experience gain are also pretty well balanced.

It's the most innovative shooter I've played in years.

You've heard of time sinks?
This is a life sink. If you need something positive in your life (like watching big, abstract numbers getting increasingly big and abstract on a screen) to distract you from the bigger issues in the day to day human experience, i highly reccomend Clicker Heroes. Otherwise, you're sinking your life into one of the best number increasing simulators. I switched to this from AdVenture Capitalist when it became apparent that it was a literal memory sink.

I don't own this game, i streamed with it once in beta. I'm writing a review. This is the review.

It's okay. 3rd person shooter where you fight the same 4 monsters to gain new gun types and upgrade them, your jump height, health, and run speed. I didn't bother looking at community mods and the story is left incomplete. Otherwise it's a relaxing game to jump around and shoot at things.

The less you know the better your experience.
