Beaten in just under 6 Hours, however, a good fun little prequel.
This game ends at the starting point of Wolfenstein : New Order.

I would recommend this to anyone who enjoyed New Order and just wants a little extra gameplay before the New Colossus control and gameplay changes. The story is simple. You kill Nazi's with an array of guns and stab them with a pipe in the neck sometimes.

Only buy it on Sale though, or part of a bundle. Would not recommend at any price above £5

It's the same game you remember. A Casual, Platformer, Collectathon.

And within the first 10 minutes, I died and shouted at the TV screen.
It's like the 1990's all over again!

It's no Banjo Kazooie - Lets get that right out the way.

PROS
- Good Ol' Fun Humour
- Great Soundtrack
- Beautiful Graphics
- Classic Rareware Style Characters

CONS
- Wide open worlds with not direction
- Wide open worlds with lots of the same enemy
- Wide open worlds with not very challenging puzzles
- Wide... Open... It just feels very EMPTY

I wanted to love it. In a visual and nostalgic aspect, I do.
But as a Platformer/Collectathon, finding items is not rewarding.
There's no sense of accomplishment, its very, Yaaaay.... you did it....Well done, I guess.... he's a thing.

Had the game since release. Played 12 Hours, only half way through, but no drive to continue :( Sorry Grant.

First remake I've played that has totally satisfied me.
As a fan of the original Megadrive/Genesis version I had high expectations and was not disappointed.
Sure its not flawless, no game is. But it's very good.

Everything loved from the original is still there, but revamped.
The musical arrangements are awesome. Nostalgic nod to the original game with a Grant Kirkhope like spin.
The level design is really well put together. Smooth gameplay. Though short.
Haven't got all the statues and costumes yet, but about 75% through took just over 4 hours.

Many people are saying their is a FPS problem. I personally had no issues at all.
Seems to run perfectly.

Recommended.

Without this game, STEAM probably wouldnt be what it is today.
This game set the bar, the crow bar that is.

To todays gamers it may not have all the graphics and the NPC's may be a little robotic.
BUT . . . Its a masterpiece of a game. So give it a shot!

Just as good as the first.
A perfect example for the saying "If it aint broke, dont fix it"
They didnt. They updated the graphics, some minor tweaks to the game mechanics, but all in all, this is essentially the first game all over again with new areas to explore and new characters to encounter.

Humor = 10/10
Art Style = 10/10
Sound & Graphics = 10/10

You may encounter the occational 'Minion stuck in wall' glitch, or un-pickup-able items due to invisible blockades, but every game has these flaws somewhere along the lines.

Id highly recommend it.
As a fan of the Original game, Overlord 2 far exceeded my expectations.

Certainly not as good as F.E.A.R but still an enjoyable experience.

The scares were few and when they came they were very dull and predictable.
For the majority of the game you are in familiar settings from the first game (and expansions), Offices, Hospital, Subway & Underground facilities.

As nice as it was to revisit the FEAR world and story, this whole game was all just, OK.
It never really made me say WOW just, "Heeeey I remember that from FEAR 1"
Its like they took the first game, updated the graphics and took out the originality by duplicating very similar locations from the first.

Overall, Id rate this game: 5/10

Its alright. But id definitely get it only if on sale, its not really worth a whole lot.
I highly recommend FEAR and the expansions (though the expansions were not made by the same people and don't tie into FEAR 2. They are still great)

To fans of the First game, I defiantly recommend this one.
Just like the first one, it is more of an interactive movie than a game, with so much dialogue and story. But all in all its great fun, with so many new weapons and armour improvements from the first game.

Id give it a rating of 9 out of 10.

This was the first game I played when I got my new graphics card.
And wow was Im pleased with my choice.

Take control of, The Overlord.
Build your castle, train your minions, forge armour and weapons and then march out into the peaceful world full of butterflies and bleating sheep, and MURDER THEM ALL!!! ... Or you can be boring a be a Good guy, people will praise you, but being bad, they will bow at your feet. Depending on if your Nice or Nasty you gain different items.

Customize your overlord with armour and weapons of your choice.
Customize your castle, the colours, statues, bowls of fire and spiked spires.
The game world is big. Not Elder Scrolls BIG but still, big enough. Colourful nice area's, dark and dank, fire and brimstone, bones and sand. There's a good variety.

The humour is what makes this game. Minions will drink beer, then pee on the tables. Sing songs, say fun lines like "Loook Sheepies!" while they viciously attack and slaughter them all.

Buy it. Play it.

More like an interactive movie than a game really. Though this game is brilliant. As a fan of Drew Karpyshns (excuse the spelling) Books, Darth Bane. I started playing this game when I read he was apart of the team Bioware, behind this game.

At first, I was thinking... pff, weird graphics and felt a bit WoW (which i hate)
But within about 2 hours of getting to grips with it . . . How wrong I was to judge a book by its cover. Simply brilliant. A few blips that could be smoothed out, but almost perfect. Brilliant game, great story, slow at times, though fast at times too makes up for it.

If you dont like books. This isnt for you, there's alot of reading and an overall, Book feel to it.
Though all in all. Brilliant fun =]
