I've put hundreds of hours into the standalone non-Steam version of this, so disregard my hours (or lack thereof); Blender is, without a doubt, the greatest piece of creativity software ever made. The learning curve can be a bit steep, but start experimenting with it and you'll slowly start to see why people are shocked this is even free.

Man, I remember when I had first found out about this game YEARS ago. It was a demo on the Wii that I had played over and over again. Imagine my surprise when I found out that it was originally a freeware PC game- I finally got to play through the full game, and I loved every minute of it. The characters were so memorable, upgrading weapons (only to get damaged later) was a blast, and the soundtrack was so good. I soon found out about the Plus version, and I was sold immediately - I feel like this version does the original justice.

Pros:
-All of the graphics are scaled up, so stuff looks a lot clearer
-The redone soundtrack is pretty good
-One of the best platformers out there
-Runs great even on older PCs
-There's a lot of extra content (that I haven't even gotten through yet)

Cons:
-Couldn't think of any except for the fact that there were some inconsistencies with a few of the sprites

Oh boy, I sure do love games that:

-Crash right when I open them
-Make me install a huge amount of outdated GFWL stuff (manually!) just to get them to work
-Use GFWL in the first place... when it's already on Steam
-Make me sign up for an account just to play it

Overall, the Steam release is terrible. Get this game on console instead if you really want to play it.

If you're a big fan of roguelikes, TowerClimb is a must-have. I've already sunk 10 hours into this game (as of writing this review) and I didn't even realize it.

CS:GO Review
Great team-based game, with some pretty good gameplay. There's a lot to learn when it comes to CSGO, however that makes for one of the best parts of the game. Over the 80 hours I've played at the time of writing this, it's neat to see how much I've improved. CSGO is a huge blast to play with friends, and even if you only have a small amount of friends to play with, you're going to have tons of fun. The only con solves itself; there aren't many gamemodes (to me at least), however most of the community servers usually introduce new gamemodes.

Although I've only played the game for around ~350 hours at the time of writing this, (which is much lower compared to how long some of my friends have played the game for) I can safely say that TF2 was really one of the best multiplayer experiences I've had. It got some of my friends into PC gaming, created small LAN parties with one of my groups of friends, and overall gave us a fun experience.
TF2 stands out in many points. First of all, it's free to play, so even if you really don't like it for whatever reason, there is really no harm in adding it to your Steam library. Second of all, the game is HIGHLY customizable. There's a ton of mods (which don't add anything gameplay-wise however customization instead) for the game, as well as the community servers which intoduce different maps and gamemodes. Lastly, it's one of the only free to play games that DON'T force in-game purchases upon the player. Almost everything can be obtained by drops, trading, the market, etc.
Overall, I really enjoyed TF2 back when our group played it extensively. We might get back into it, even though we moved onto other games such as Garry's Mod and CS:GO (Which are also great games, go figure). So, if you haven't played it yet, and have a few friends with a computer that can run it, (TF2 isn't really a power-hungry game, I've played it on a craptop just fine) you should DEFINITELY play the game together.

I really love this game. Why?

-You get to mess with physics and make stuff
-Mods. Tons of them. They're easy to install, too
-It's a good multiplayer game
-People have made tons of gamemodes. Think of it as 10s of games in one
-When you do play multiplayer, there's tons of fun to have, especially in sandbox

Overall I would recommend Garry's Mod to anyone. There are tons of possibilities that makes it a game for anyone to play for hours on end.
