Turned out to be a far better game than I expected. If I hadn't ignored the reviews, I would have missed the immersive experience this game gives you. A thoughtful, poetic story with a gorgeous landscape to traverse. It's soothing and tense at the same time.
A truly unique experience if you want to get away from the noise and clutter of the world.

Having played the original arcade and console games. Which were fun and allowed some button mashing, I was looking forward to playing this.

Sadly it is disappointing experience.
The graphics are good, it's fun up to a point, but the skill needed is extremely low. Even though I've become a casual gamer mostly, it still failed to challenge me. I'll keep it and keep going back to it for some mindless fun, but for a slightly more engrossing fighting experience I would look elsewhere.

There is no shortage of good to fantastic fighting games. Guilty Gear series may be a better option for most people.

This Game is pure joy. Haven't played it as much as I'd like to, but every time I switch it on, it brightens my entire day. Relaxing, engaging and a great escape from whatever's giving you a headache.

My brother shared this game with me, and so far I've enjoyed it so much that I bought my own copy. There's a steep learning curve, for me at least, but as soon as you master it, you'll become a one man army. There's a lot of content that will distract you from the main story and pull you into unexpected scenarios. Adventure, swashbuckling, stealth, this game has it all and in good quantities.
