Objectively, the best game from Paradox. With its vast content, endless replayability, and the option to approach it with role-playing or min-maxing, Stellaris stands out.
Where Stellaris truly shines is in seamlessly bringing together all the science fiction tropes into a single universe, maintaining a rich experience without overwhelming complexity or sacrificing coherence. It's a love letter to the genre, especially given its consistent support that continues to add features with seemingly limitless ingenuity.

Northern Lord was good, Royal Court is fine but pretty lightweighted, but this one is gold. Top notch visuals, best war music, the struggle system seems very well thought even if it's sad to see it's only available in Iberia, there should be a "generic version" for this system in the rest of the world.
I had doubt about how relevant a very localized DLC would be (versus Cultural DLC like we had in CK3), but i have to admit the overall quality of this one is very high. It's gonna take ages and a ton of DLC if they want to cover every area of the world this way tho.

Early Access Review
I had doubts about this one, being not so enthusiast about They are Billions, but enjoying the concept. I feared Age of Darkness would just be a low-cost clone but it's far from it.
It has a gritty atmosphere, tights mechanics, is more appealing to the RTS-casual crowd like me, the skill ceiling is not sky-high like TAB.
It's difficult but forgiving at times, simple yet has depth.
I think it's on a good spot right now and i'm looking forward to see what's down the road.

If you played CK2, you know the drill.
Only, it's better suited for beginners, more focused on roleplay, has a very clean UI, stunning visual overall, and it's the same crazy infinite story generator we all love.
A few features from CK2 have been removed (artifacts, disease spreading) but the highly polished experience outvalues the lack of events.
I hope every DLC will be at the same standard than the vanilla game.

I think reviews are being a bit unfair with this DLC. While i understand why it was not well received, i think there is some nice narrative value in there.
Obviously there is none of the Three Kingdoms characters, and the units are not particularely diversified, but the base material is good, gameplay and story wise. Taking the time to read or watch a bit about the Eight Prince era helps to feel immerged into this DLC that is pretty heavy on the diplomatic-side. I've been betayed even more in this DLC than the base game in twice less time.
All in all it's a fun mini-campaign.

Dark Souls is dead, long live Dark Souls.
It's not even a soul game, it's thankfully highly different, it has a higher skill ceiling but also a higher gratification. Learning to parry and dodge with a perfect timing ultimately leads to pure bliss during boss fights.

Obviously the greatest story-generator ever (after Dwarf Fortress).
Also includes demons worshipers, failed murder attempts, incest, friends that will stab you in the back, children throwing tantrums, pillaging, and sometimes rage-quit, all of wich are not mandatory but strongly advised.

>Be me
>Innocent survivor
>Trying to get to the door with my buddies
> Get camped in the cave, get camped in the woods, get facecamped everywhere, all the time
>Becoming salty
>Resist the urge to become as toxic as killers are
>Become a better survivor, a better friend, a better person altogether
