It made me want to seek knowledge outside of the game and improve the well being of others around me. This is a game presented as a viable learning experience about history, society, and social norms.

Aside from this real life inspiration, An Octave Higher has relatable characters that showcased how their lives would be changed in Overture with the events that are occurring in the game. It makes your mind think about the consequences of your choices and how each character would be affected by each different outcomes.

Each ending envisioned different hidden cues that the developers created to provide different meanings and allowed me to continue the story after the novel already ended. An Octave Higher is a hidden gem like other games such as To The Moon and fault - milestone one.
