PlanetSide 2 is the sequel to a very fun game that was created in 2003. Many players find themselves overwhelmed by the possibilities and freedom that is introduced. Do they want to jump right into a huge battle? Or start off with a small exhibition. Either way, they will most likely die. A lot. This game is not that easy at first. You will get run down several times. (Sometimes literally.) But if this happens a lot, just press P and look for an open squad. Hopefully they will have mics and be telling you guys what to do, and it's best to just listen. Maybe watch a bit to see what is going on, as well. This game is fun when played alone, only after you have learned to play the game and know what to look for. With air combat, vehicle combat, infantry combat, and hopefully more types coming soon, this game has a little taste of everything you can expect from a top-of-line-shooter. Some people have trouble with internet connections and the client-side hit registration, but with the recent optimizations, it should be a little more bearable. At least it will latency lag while you are playing around 45 frames. It's difficult to review such a large game, so I would just suggest to download it, and try it yourself. Don't forget about squads, and it may be best to download and play with a friend. Possibly one that has played before, but it is fun either way!

S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl is a very grim game. Not to say it's bad, though. You roam around the once great area of Russia near Chernobyl after the catastrophic disaster that took place. It is a difficult game to get used to, as there are many aspects that you must learn such as the health system, enemies, anomalies and even weapons. There are a good amount of jumps, and it is overall a pretty scary concept, however I would not consider it to be a 'horror' game.
This free roam game is very good, especially in the idea of originallity.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

Takes a great game, and makes it better. Adding at least 16 new weapons, ranging from Grenade Launchers to Baseball Bats and Katanas, you'll be playing this one a lot. Realism is also a great addition, with you being killed by the witch in one hit, not being incapacitated, and other realistic aspects to the game, you'll find it difficult to complete the level without proper teamwork.

This is one of the best Zombie shooters out there. I have played L4D on both the computer and Xbox 360, but I prefer PC gaming to console gaming. This game is difficult on the hardest difficulty, but teamwork should help you survive the waves of horde. The Special infected may seem odd at first, but they are actually a great addition, because it would be far too easy with only common infected.

This is a pretty decent squad based RTS. Unfortunately, it takes a different approach of their last games. In the other DoW games, you would construct buildings and then slowly upgrade your forces to amass a large force. I'm not sure if they made a update or expansion for this, but it is a quite good game considering it's change from the prior games.
