This game is fun. It doesnt become hampered by the same hyper-realism fun-sucking mechanics of some other survival games. It knows just the level of realism to keep things overall fun. If you have played Dayz and thought that it was too grindy and boring, you will probably like this game far more. It has intense and intuitive combat. The looting system has depth and rewards for the keen eye. Player progression is balanced and rewarding, which is a hard thing to acheive with a randomized loot system. Thus far, the game has been introducing constant updates, each adding something new to the game, keeping things fresh and fun. However, there are still some mechanics that need ironing out, such as basebuilding, vehicles, and AI. However, these kinds of things have and are sure to be improved looking forward. In the meantime, though, they can be very frustrating. Having played the game for as long as I have, I can say that it has greatly improved and looks to do so in the future.
Great game 7/10.

After playing this game since the beginning, and surviving the early days of bad servers and framerates, I can say now that in its current state, Hunt: Showdown is my favorite battle royale game. The intensity and depth of this game is amazing. It's honestly the most fun I've had in awhile. If your in for an intense, rewarding, new take on the battle royale experience, then I highly reccomend you buy Hunt: Showdown.
