Great game to burn some time or just to up your mood by quite a bit when you feel depressed. That feeling when you crush someones head with a maul never gets old, it fuels me. 10/10.

I shall call it the best game of a couple decades. It still shines even though it shows its age. But this is the game that i mainly played in my childhood, and its the game that got me into gaming particuralily.

10/10. I still sometimes come back to it even though its over 20 years old just for the sake of nostalgia and that adrenaline rush from slaying all the casual players that still do play this game.

Early Access Review
This game requires you to be super focused, theres no indications that you killed an enemy, no experience system. Visuals are stunning though the character details might look a bit janky, but the environment, firefights make you feel like you're in the game.

For immersion purposes i suggest you play at Ultra detail, though you'd be at a disadvantage since Lowest settings completely remove foliage and makes you spot enemies faster, which most players do.

You can choose to either be a Squad leader, a Marksmen, Riflemen, Anti-Tank, Medic or even a pilot.

They really improved the performance on this game over the years, they added helicopters, more classes. Theres also a really fun unofficial server on which you play as either a zombie or a survivor and just find the highest possible building and try to survive the zombie attack. It can end up being even a 5v50, its really immersive has some modded visuals, you'll feel like you're in a swamp at night time where you cant see in the distance much and you'll have to keep your eyes open to not get shanked by a zombie.

If you have problems with directional audio enable Windows Sonic Surround.

This game right here a masterpiece. It can vary from being a military simulator to being a role-playing game to a sandbox. Theres loads of gamemodes to choose from, lots of mods. Mods can either be gun sounds or those that can change the whole mechanics or aspect of the game.

The most popular and mainstream gamemodes being:
Wasteland
KoTH (King of The Hill)
Cooperative missions (Can either be community made or official)

Ill talk about vanilla (unmodded version) of the game. Its your opinion wether you want to mod this precious game or not, but i dont really like modding in general, unless its server based.

Firstly, the sniping mechanics are amazing, scopes can vary from being 2x to being up to 25x zoom. You can literally hit a target from over 2 Kilometres away if you're good. Theres a delay for the bullet to travel in distance, so for example let's say you're shooting a person with a sniper that has 800 meters/s speed, that would take you 1.25seconds to hit a target thats 1 kilometre away from you, you'd have to predict where he will be standing in that period of time in order to hit that crucial and perfect shot, scopes have a zero'ing option also.

This game has it all, anywhere from Slow Pickup Trucks to Sport Hatchbacks to Trucks. It has loads of helicopters, jets, tanks, even quad bikes, and regular vehicles to choose from.
It has a variety of rocket launchers, grenade launchers, snipers, automatic rifles, pistols, even satchel charges.

It has an excellent VoIP system implemented in it, which lets you talk communicate with other players, either through Direct, Group, Squad chats.

Though this game might be buggy sometimes, has a terrible optimization, visuals are decent even for a 2012/2013 game. You wont really be at a disadvantage since all of the players have low framerates anyways, so just get immersed into it, enjoy it how it is.

You can also test all of the content in the Virtual Arsenal, you might practice how to pilot, which takes a lot of skill, maybe shoot in the distance, drive tanks and etc. The only negative is that some of the items require DLC to unlock. And DLC's are overpriced, but i have bought them all just for the sake of immersion and being able to use every weapon/vehicle/armor possible

I really recommend you to pick this game up, it's best if you wait on a sale since the price of DLC's and the base game can drop by quite a bit.

10/10 mil-sim.

One of the best story-rich games out there. Even though its almost a decade old it still holds up even to this day.

The graphics are stunning even at 1440p. Though shadows may sometimes appear janky or shall i say misaligned when you're looking in the distance.

Performance wise you don't really need a beefy computer to run it at 60 frames. I have a 980Ti and R5 3600 and i run it perfectly fine at 100fps+ at 1440p on mixed high and ultra settings with MSAA set to 2X.

Story is the best part about this game. It was developed by Rockstar, so like with all their games it's a masterpiece and i highly suggest waiting on a sale or a discount of some sort. It usually doesn't cost more than $15.

Online is horrible, filled with microtransactions and futuristic stuff, like flying cars and space guns. I dont recommend playing online, its a waste of time unless you're having fun and i highly doubt you'll have fun grinding those GTA$ for over 1000 hours.

All in all:

Story 9/10
Online 5/10.

Probably my favorite game with the best Story line.
Completed the story in about 60 hours. Played online for a 100hrs before playing story and i kind of regret it because theres some spoilers and also its really fun to experience the map first in story instead of knowing all of the locations instantly when you start online. Also theres bounty hunting spoilers and etc.

Pros:
+ Story.
+ Stunning visuals (probably the best ive seen so far).
+ Online.
+ Lots of small details which makes the whole game alot more immersive.
+ Cinematics are amazing.

Cons:
- Online content is lacking.
- Microtransaction promotion in Online, but im sure you know that already if you've played gta online.
- Performance issues.
- Random game crashes.
- Bugs.
- Infinite loading screens.
- Random disconnecting in Online

I suggest you play this game with a controller because its a console port and the mouse movement feels sluggish.
Overall 9/10.
