Über mich
It was a sunny summer day when I picked up the Commodore 64's joystick for the first time. I was excited when I first started the Summer Games game. I fought my way through the various disciplines such as swimming and athletics. I remember how I cheered with joy when I finally got the gold medal.

The days and weeks passed and autumn came. I was now used to the joystick and decided to try the Winter Games. I slid across the ice, jumped over ramps and shot through the biathlon course. I was so engrossed in the game that I didn't even notice the days passed. I had so much fun that even the joystick broke at some point.

A few years later, when I exchanged the Commodore 64 for an Amiga, I discovered the strategy game "Powermonger". I spent hours planning my armies and leading them into battles. I remember jumping for joy when I finally gained dominion over the world.

When I finally got my first PC (386), I discovered my absolute favorite game "Panzer General". I have spent countless hours planning my armored divisions and leading them into war.

These games were my first experiences with computer games and I will always remember them. They taught me to think strategically and inspired me to continue my passion for games.

Crusader Kings III is the medieval simulator that will make you question your own sanity. In this game, you play as a medieval ruler trying to navigate the treacherous political landscape of the middle ages. It's like playing a game of thrones, but with less dragons and more paperwork.

The graphics are beautiful, but don't let that fool you, the gameplay is a true test of patience. You'll spend hours trying to figure out the best way to marry off your daughter to increase your prestige, only to have her run off with a wandering minstrel. But that's okay, because you'll have plenty of time to stew on it while you wait for your armies to march across the map at a glacial pace.

The soundtrack is also top-notch, because nothing sets the mood for a game of medieval politics like a lute being strummed in the background. And let's not forget the characters, they're all so colorful and unique, just like the various ways they will betray you.

Overall, Crusader Kings III is a game that will make you laugh, cry, and possibly pull out your hair. But it's worth it, because there's nothing quite like the feeling of finally becoming the king of the world, only to have your kingdom collapse the moment you take your eye off the ball.
