As someone who never really plays shooters, this game being my very first one to be honest, it's actually somewhat fun. Turning your character into paper is pretty funny and is something I haven't seen in any other shooters. However, it's not really that effective at dodging bullets despite the significantly decreased hitbox, and is used more for faster movement via gliding, or sticking to walls to outmaneuver or sneak up on opponents.

The game features a gacha to pull exclusive, limited-time skins, and its pity works extremely similar to popular gachas. However, the devs are extremely stingy with free pulls. You get a decent amount at the start of the game, but after that, it's a very slow grind for 1 pull per 5 account levels and 2 pulls per new event that only happens once a month. It's not only very F2P unfriendly, but kind of discourages spending on the gacha. There are also skins that can be purchased through packs, but those are also a bit on the expensive side.

Despite the game having been released in China for a year, and in global for 4 months (at the time of this writing), it doesn't quite feel like a complete game. There's an extremely limited amount of game modes to choose from. Plus, the game features a dormitory system which acts as a mini dating sim, but the current options are extremely limited; about 9 or so in CN, and only 2 in global, out of 21 currently released characters. There's also a tiny bit of lore which you're introduced to at the very beginning, but any additional lore afterwards is scattered in very tiny pieces throughout the game, is in a manhwa currently only available in Chinese, or is simply yet to be released. I find the game's lore to be quite interesting, but clearly it's very low on the priority list for the devs.

Although the game currently features 5 game modes to choose from, it is heavily focused on the Demolition mode. The objective in this mode is to either defeat all enemies, or depending on which side you're on, successfully detonate a bomb or defuse it. This is where the game sells itself as a tactical shooter, and it is indeed labeled in-game as a difficult game mode for a reason. Even after trying very hard to learn this game mode, I still find it to be the most unfun game mode ever, and prefer playing the other modes instead. Unfortunately, a good chunk of quests for the game's Battle Pass as well as some achievements, requires you to play Demolition. Currently, there is no PvE mode, but I have heard rumors that the devs would like to add one someday. I've still yet to verify this myself, but would certainly consider playing much more if one was added. Alternatively, an option to play against bots that isn't through custom rooms or queuing at less active hours and hoping you reach the time limit to get a bot lobby would be preferred as well.

The game has a tendency to attract the anime gacha crowd, most of which have never played a shooter before like myself. Despite this, the game is not only quite difficult to learn, but sometimes punishes you for trying to do so. This is due to the fact it has an automated system to detect and punish players who are engaging in negative behavior such as passive play, griefing, smurfing, boosting, or throwing games. Of course, this system isn't perfect and has punished players who are simply underperforming, including myself. Should one get enough penalties, the game may ban you from playing at all, even in game modes that are supposed to be casual. This is made much worse when combined with the lack of a skill-based matchmaking, meaning it's entirely possible for a complete newbie to be matched against pro players. Recently, they have decided to double down on this system by instantly banning you for saying almost anything in chat or disconnecting, crashing, or some accident beyond your control happens and you had to leave for a minute or two. Because of this overly strict penalty system, I honestly can't recommend this game to anyone until it gets fixed.
