Ryzen 5 1600 and RX 570 as minimum?! Seriously?

Would love to tell you how the game is but runs so poorly I don't think I'll be playing it more.

I've got that CPU and an RX 580, a great 1080p gaming setup, but launch this game and set everything to low and it's still 15 FPS. It's like they don't even know what a low setting is.
After following some advice from a vid to make some more tweeks, I can eek out 24 FPS, but that's still majorly disappointing.

I shouldn't be begging for frames on the lowest settings with an RX 580.
The performance of the game was a major let down.
Very disappointed.

I do actually HIGHLY recommend, however there's some issues that I think are important to share which leads me to giving a negative review. If the major issue is resolved, then I'll make this a positive review.

Well What's Wrong Then?
The biggest negative issue is toxicity and the lack of response to it.
There's an absurd amount of slurs (primarily racist, but others too) and just generally toxic people in chat, and it happens in most games I play in the main gamemodes of frontline and invasion. I've heard that it's more of an issue on official servers, but I've personally spent little to no time on community ones so I have no input on that.
The dev's response to this has been lackluster, with the only substantial improvement being a mute button in chat. (there's also a "motivational mute" button too, which is pretty funny)
The major excuse for this is being a small team and allocating development elsewhere, like content updates (and they do bring content updates).
On that topic, it sounds like the possibility of female and non-white characters is realistic, although probably not soon. The reason this is relevant is because it sparks controversy over the toxic players as there are chuds that'll just complain about "muh realism."

This however is the only super major issue I have, so if you get past that then it might be worth your time.

So Why Do I Recommend It? (The Positive Side of Things)
I first saw this game when it was like a kickstarter or something and I was pretty excited for it. I didn't buy at the time but eventually I got around to buying it (maybe a year after? don't remember) but I'm pretty satisfied with it.
To me, it compares to $60 AAA games while still being a $30 game by a small team that came out of nowhere. There's also no microtransaction and expensive DLC B.S. that Triple AAA companies will do.

Combat
So already looking at price to quality, it looks good. But on top of that, the game offers a unique experience. The only comparable game is Chivalry (which is old) and this game is basically just a straight upgrade from that.
It's a quality game that satisfies the niche/need for a medieval combat game with a pretty straightforward and simple skill-based combat system. Is easy enough to understand how to play, but it can be a steep curve as far as getting good and becoming a skilled player in the game. There's also a growing competitive scene, and I very much think that the game has good competitive potential.

Customization
This is very much what drew me and many medieval enthusiasts in. The game offers realistic medieval weapons with proper names. There's no arbitrary "broadsword" or something like that. You can expect an arming sword to actually be called an arming sword, and the same goes for armor. There's no "medieval helmet," there's Barbutes, Sallets, Bascinets, ect. and it's really just refreshing and nice to see. Not only do you expect a variety of proper medieval stuff, but you can mix, match and customize what you want in a loadout. If you want to be shirtless with a flat templar and a maul, go for it. You can also change colors and parts (such as blade, hilt, handle, ect.) on weapons. Heck, you could even go for a peasent, rock thrower, or lute player if you want. There's plenty of customization with weapons, armor/clothes, and perks.

Gamemodes
If the first 2 things that drew me in were a combat system I liked, and a variety of customization options, a 3rd thing would have to be big battles. The 24v24 gamemodes of Frontline and Invasion really give me that large battlefield feel I'm looking for as opposed to something small like 4v4 (I play For Honor somewhat too). And it's not just a battlefield, there's objectives too, which gives me the feel of playing classic Star Wars Battlefront 2 or Battlefield. Overall I enjoy these main gamemodes.
As far as some of the others, I never played the Battle Royale gamemode because I don't play Battle Royale games but I hear it's good. The horde mode I've played on occasion and feels a lot like CoD Zombies (except I personally enjoy this way more). There's also the free-for-all and team-deathmatch modes, and plenty of severs setup for duels or other interesting things.

Summary
All in all, it's got combat I like, a variety of quality customization, fun gamemodes, good graphics, quality at a decent price, and you can expect content updates to come from developers. It might just be one of my new favorites.
Just gotta wait for that future update for characters and hope devs do something about toxicity.

Grabbed this indie game on sale for less than $4 so I figured I'd try it
Looked interesting so I gave it a shot.

CONS
Unfortunetly, after not even an hour in the RTS aspect, it seemed almost unplayable or broken.

The biggest problem is the lack of information, there is a lot the game doesn't tell you regarding resources, be it production or use. There is also no counter of how long anything takes other than research. The "tutorial" (information videos) kinda suck

The graphics aren't impressive either, but it's what you see in the video. It doesn't run well and indoor lighting is god-aweful.

Linux is a bit much to ask, but I'd like to see that considering it's on unity.

Stuff could user more upgrades and progression, feels very lack-luster.

Hardly even got to see AI in action because of how much I played but I heard the pathfinding is bad.

Options for the player in the FPS enviroment in terms of equipment are almost non-existant

PROS
The power distribution managment sliders are fun to play with.

The FPS/RTS hybrid concept is fun and not often seen

Good elevator music

Summary
It looked pretty cool when I got it, but it is less developed than most early-access games while being a full release. It would be cool is it was developed, however, it's current (and most likely future) state is unplayable. Apparently they're making a sequal and all development is going to that, so let's hope that version is actually decent.

Even though I only paid $3.89 (70% off sale) I am getting a refund

took me less then an hour to complete (apparently there's an acheviment for doing in 10 mins dear lord)
But I will say that the hour it took me to play it was AMAZING, between the moderatly challanging puzzels, the intense music, and me laughing at my stupid fails, I enjoyed this game 120%

So I would say this is a "need-to-buy" ......except it's completly free

SO DOWNLOAD IT RIGHT NOW! (it took me like 5mins and I don't have great internet)

I would say this game was like a cross between portal and a FPS game
now I need to go see if I can get the achivements

Take the crazy, explosive, madness of fun that is just cause 2........ and multiply it......
Now you can do that crazy, explosive, madness of fun.... with your friends.....

Seriously, why aren't the developers implementing this as standard in Just Cause, a lot of people play it more than the actual game!

P.S.-been playing Just Cause 3 lately, I've been hoping for a multiplayer mod for that

Early Access Review
I give it 10 out of 10 out of 10.....
For every idiot who loses to me in a rock fight, and that one guy who couldn't get me with his bow and I got him with a wooden spear....

also, I found a nice little server with less than 10 people and we're all friendly and we made a viallage with help from the admin.... unlike the popular servers where there's house on every piece of land and everyone kills on sight for no reason.....

Just goes to show that you don't have to kill on sight

This game leaves me speachless
I always liked to call Arma "Military Simulator" because it is the most realistic shooter and combined-arms game you will ever play (that is of course, until there is an arma 4)

This game is great for the serious and the least serious.... with workshop support for RP, mods, zombies, wastelands, Tactical operations and more......

FACT: this review can't even scratch the surface of how good Arma is........
You will just have to look around, maybe watch some videos, maybe buy the game.....
But I don't have enough time to describe this, I NEED to get back to playing it......
