Not only do I commend 343 for taking the time to step back and address fan responses and criticisms to their game before release, overhauling their graphics, but they made available for free the best aspect of the Halo franchise. Don't get me wrong, the campaigns are great, but the multiplayer is where everyone spends the rest of their time!

All of the systems that we've come to love have been brought together into a cohesive whole that plays wonderfully. Along with the recent update including new playlists and a better battlepass XP system, everything feels fun and rewarding.

If I had to list any criticisms, it would be: The Scorpion tank uses the 6 Pedals 4 Directions system of Halo 5, which is terrible in that you cannot turn your tracks unless the turret is pointing straight ahead within like 15 degrees left or right. It's horrid and nearly makes me avoid using it were it not for the desire to stop the other team from having it.

The other thing is that, while I don't mind the shop and the prices aren't wild like the $40 skins you see with Pokemon Unite, the fact that the wearables, color swaps, and more are all tied to specific armor sets, which is exceedingly frustrating when you find that perfect color scheme and can only use it with your least favorite armor.

That's it though. The tank controls suck and the microtransactions are too specific.

It's definitely not a very forgiving game. Save points are spaced out well enough, but you need to react quickly at times and it will often take a lot of replays in order to progress. Still, I'm enjoying it for what it is.

This is the first early access game that I've been satisfied with. I've wanted to play DayZ for a long time, but never pulled the trigger. This game takes it to another level, to be cliche, and does it well.
