It's an arcade-style checkpoint racer, extreme skating game, and fighting game rolled in one. It has car customization, drifts, tricks, grinds, special moves, and footsies. It has a shocking amount of unlockables for as small a game as it is. It has an absurdly pleasing faux-retro art style. It makes chuds mad. What's not to love?

Well, okay, it would be nice if there were more music tracks. There's only one, and it just repeats over and over, and that gets old. Other than that, though? Buck Up and Drive is wonderfully silly fun. It's a rare example of stream-of-consciousness game design resulting in something not only playable, but memorable. I haven't had this much fun with a checkpoint racer since... well, ever. It really is a blast.
